My doctor has advised me the Embeta Xr 25 extended in place inderal 40 mg which I was taking twice daily as I was having some palpitations of the heart. I am suffering from mirital stenosis of the heart, but the valve contraction is very minimal and i am having this for the past 30 years. My echo was taken, there also it was pointed that every thing is under allowable limits. I told my doctor that some time back, I was advised by another doctor to change my bp tablet, I did, but on taking that I felt very uncomfortable, so I again reverted back to Inderal. After my CABG on 09.09.2010, I am taking Clopitab - A 150 Mg daily one after lunch as directed by my Cardiologist/surgeon. Since last week I am going through Arrhythmia (irregular Heart bits - skipping 10 - 12 bits / min out of 80 -90 bits with Blood pressure 130/90 hg/mm) Is it due to the side effect of the following tablets I am taking daily as per the prescription? 1. I was taking repalol earlier which is quite helpful to control my BP but after i had my spinal surgery i asked to change my medicine from repalol to telma AM 80 which after few days caused difficulties for me in form of swelling and high risk of kidney damage which forces me to change again the medicine from telma AM 80 to Embeta XR 50 . but i am seeing that it's too not useful in controlling my high BP. Please suggest whether i switched back to my older medication repalol.

I have been suffering from High pulserate and High BP.I am 26yrs old. But after investigating DOC did not find any cardiac related diseases. Doc has suggested Tel ma AMH-80 , Arkamin & EM-beta-100 mg . After using these tabs i am having sleep pattern disturbances such as sleep jerks ,legs shaking during night & continuous dreams.I am not sure which of the above tablets are causing me these side effects . Please let me know which tablet to stop immediately and replace with another one. Thank you. ## When changed to Telma 80 on doctor's advice from Telma 80H , I have noticed heaviness in my legs & some swelling on the ankle joints & also lesser flow of urine .

I am taking Olmat 40h + Embeta 100mg in the morning as well as Olmat 40mg in the evening + Atorva 5mg at night. My blood pressure is 140/90 in the morning and 160/90 in the evening. Would I have to take these medications for life? What are their side effects? I am 63 years old. ## You may have to take them for the rest of your life, to keep your blood pressure under control. However, if it does come down to normal levels, you may be able to reduce how many you are taking, or lower their dosages, in the future. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been taking Ramistar 5 mg twice daily for the last three years. BP is now ok. Should it continue for much longer or I should stop using it now. I have had angio plasty twice in the last 8 yrs.Pl. advise. In addition I have been taking Amtas 5mg., embeta XR, Persulet 10 mg. Ecosprin 150 mg. Tonnact 40 mg daily. ## As per the test, I am having high blood pressure and high sugar . I have been asked to take Remiprill 5 , one per day. Still my High BP is in that same count. do you suggest that i take same 5 mg or increase the mg. Or to switch to some other medicine. How many months it will take for me to be normal. (Now I am 263) Please advise

I am 40 years old female. I am taking nitrocontin 6.4, Ranozex 500 mg and lipicure 40mg after angioplasty for 90-95% blockage in all the three arteries for last one month. I am having constipation and severe hair loss almost baldness. I also am experiencing blurred vision.May I know are these the side effects of these medicines. the patient is in grief due to death of the son. doctor has prescribed stalopan plus. her blood pressure rises frequently to 160/120. she has been adivced to take embeta 25 mg twice daily to control blood pressure. also she has been adviced to take olsar and zevit . pl advice what treatment she has been given thanks

I had angioplasty 2 yrs ago and had been prescribed Clopilet, Hopace, Rosuvas & Ecospirin. Now, Embeta has been added to them. Clopilet and Embeta are used for the same treatment, right? If so, why should I take them both?
