Sir my father suffered from massive heart attack and had undergone angioplasty on 30th January 2013. now he is consuming Tazloc 20 tablet star press xl 50 1 tablet and ecosprin gold 20 1 tablet in a day recently a polyp hasbeen detected in his right nose.the e n t specialist has suggested to stop ecosprin gold 20 for at least 10 days in order to operate the polyp. in this case can ecosprin gold 20 be stopped for cardiac patient at this situation ## Hello, Sudipta! I am a retired person. i used tobacco (chewing+ smoking). Suddenly i stopped about two years back. It was all right for about two months when I had some time utilization with an engineering college after my retirement which could not continue. My cardiologist has prescribed me to take clopilet 75, ecosprin gold, telzy 4mg and zintac 15mg. But i have a doubt that the clopilet 75 and ecosprin gold are the same?? Should i use both?? Please reply. ## I had to undergo angioplasty on 08.05.2017. There were three blocks and three stents were required. At the time of discharge on 10.05.2017, the doctor told me that the Ecospirin and Cloplet are to be taken with other medicine and not to stop them even at the time of any surgery without the consultation of any Cardiologist. Now I have been advised to take clopitorva 20 instead of ecosprin gold 20. Clopitorva 20 is about four time costlier than ecosprin gold 20. My Mother is 70 years old. She suffered a mild Heart attack. A 40 mm stent was inserted by angioplasty. The doctor prescribed Nitrocontin 2.6 twice a daily, Ecosprin gold 20 once a daily. Now, by mistake Nitrocontin 2.6 was taken only once a day. The patient is suffering short breathing problem for a very short distance, also suffering from bronchitis. At present she has small fluids in the lungs and was advised to take Fuselac (medicine) once a day and after two days go for an Echo as ECG had some changes. Then the doctor advised her to take this medicine twice a day. I am 65 years old and hypertensive for last 30/35 years. I am under medication for long and presently taking Listril-SM tab and Stamlo 5, one each in the morning and Tenoric 50 one tablet at night. Recently one Cardiologist advised me to take one tab. Telma-AM-H 80 in the morning replacing the other medicines and also to replace Colsprin 100 with Ecosprin Gold 20. The problem is I tried Telma 40 and subsequently Telma-H a couple of years ago as per advise of a Cardilogist but it failed to maintain my blood pressure. On the contrary it shoots upto 190/100. The pressure becomes 140/80 after switching back to Listril-SM with addition of Stamlo 5. While Lisonopril seems to be suiting me why Cardilogists insisting on Telsartan ?
