I had been prescribed Ecospirin 150 mg once daily after a mild heart attack in 2001. In 2005 I started experiencing ringing in my ears. In 2007 I started experiencing piles. In 2009 I experienced bleeding ulcers. Doc said these are all known side-effects of long-term use of Ecospirin, and finally discontinued it for me. Instead, he has prescribed Clopi---. Can anyone guide me as to whether it is a good substitute for Ecospirin, and whether it too has side effects from long term usage? ## Clopidogrel is a good substitute. You will not have the side effects as caused by aspirin.

i forget taking ecospirin 150 after lunch. is it ok if i take it any other time ## Ecosprin just contains Aspirin and in many cases it is used as a blood thinner in these lower dosages. That said, there is no particular time of day that it has to be taken, so there really shouldn't be any problem if you switch it to another time that's easier for you to remember to take it. Learn more Ecosprin details here. If you're on the once a day dosing, then you should just make sure not to take them any closer than 24 hours apart. So, if you want to take one later in the day, then taking your next dose 30 hours away from the last one would be safer than taking them just six hours apart. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Can i take 20-30 tablets of ecospirin 150mg perday

In this case, due to the complicated medical conditions and other medications involved, the best suggestion I can make to both of you is to contact your respective doctors and ask what's safe for you to use to relieve the headache. After a planned angioplasty of LAD (95%block) a stable patient(no sugar, no BP, Tot.Cholestrol153,but HDL 30, LDL 96 who showed effort anjina. How to reduce the current dosage of Plavix 75 twice, Rozat40 1 daily, and Ecospirin 150 after 1 month? Is Ecospirin, Rozat combination overuse of medicine? ## The medication dosages should not be lowered, unless the patient's doctor instructs them to lower them, or stop one. This is not overuse of medications, multiples are normally prescribed to treat such conditions. A 95% block is very dangerous. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and joint/muscle aches. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is to safe to take Ecospirin 10 mg for a long time. I am a heart patient having pumping rate is low. ## What has your doctor advised? Ecosprin contains Aspirin and it is often given to cardiac patients, because of its blood thinning properties, since thinning the blood can help improve cardiac function. It may cause side effects, such as nausea, drowsiness, headache and stomach irritation. 10mgs is also a very low dose, most people on a daily regimen actually take 75 to 150mgs. ## what are the advantages and disadvantage of ecosprin 75mg, thyroxine 100mg, lipicure 20mg, xarelto 20mg? as I am on all these medications. ## Sir i am taling clopitova since four years after angeo astunt .but still i feel chest pain. I am a patient of pancreatitis due to this I am diabetic also, can i take this medicine ## Ecosprin contains the active ingredient Aspirin and no, it should not be taken if you have Pancreatitis. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and can aggravate the condition. It can also cause your stomach to produce more acid, which can cause the pancreas to be further irritated and try to release more enzymes, since it thinks you are trying to digest more food and that can also make the condition worse. Whenever someone has pancreatitis, it is advised that they stay away from all nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories. Have you talked to your doctor about this? Usually the only thing given, when someone has pancreatitis is Acetaminophen/Paracetamol: ## Effrct of ECOSPIRIN 150 AV. TOO MUCH URINRE AT ...
