I have been prescribed Meloxicam 15 mg once daily for inner ear pain/inflammation (take 2 daily for 7 days, then 1 daily for 7 days). So, 2 weeks altogether (21 tablets). Should I be okay with no side effects? The only thing I have is GERD. But, I am worried about when, if any, side effects will appear. I'm a 42 year old male that was dx with RA about 1.5 years ago. Initial treatment was methotrexate but had lived issues. I've been on Humira for three months and it has all but wiped out my joint pain and I feel great except for my left jaw and ear. Jaw and ear pain and teeth/bite shifting started at about week three and has been intermintent since. Ear pain has decreased over that time and jaw pain is hit or miss and seems to come on with out rhyme or reason. It's bad enough right not that it woke me up. Had my last apt with my RA doc last week and mentioned the pain and he did not seem concerned or think that it is either Humira or RA related. I've never had issues like this prior and Humira is the only change. Any ideas/similar experiences etc? I would hate to have to...

hi my doctor prescribed me taking sumo yesterday as I am suffering from earache n gave me soliwax eardrops as well I hv to take sumo twice in a day ## I am suffering from severe joint pain swelling in feet ND stiffness in muscles can't do minor movements since from 2 months am suffering this..... I have swimmers ear and to make it better i have a bottle of neomycin and polymyxin b sulfates and hydrocortosone otic solution usp. I used it a couple times made my ear feel really clogged and over all just worse. This medication is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that is used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. However, if your pain is due to an ear infection, you may also need an antibiotic, or the Voveran may not help much. What has your doctor instructed? Are you on any other medications?

I just started takin amox for ear infection and they gave me hydroco 5-325mg but it wont take the pain away I waz wondering can I take ibuprofen. Is that a big nono???? ## Yes, you can take 800mg of Ibuprofen every 8 hours. I wouldnt take any more than that, it can be rough on the stomach. Take with a full stomach of food. I've had severe tooth pain from an abcess, and Ibuprofen worked better than the Tylenol3 with Codeine the dentist gave me. ## I totally agree with Leo. I was prescribed Tylenol 3 with Codeine post surgery, but the Codeine gave me such a bad headache that I ended up taking Advil for pain relief and it worked well for me.

For the past 3 days I've been feeling bad. Started with a sore throat then it was my ear, then it was being being super tired. I wasn't sure what it was bc I been feeling some slight chills as well. There has been a major change of weather so I was thinking that this could all be sinus related. The only thing that seemed to really work was a super hot shower... afterwards I felt perfect but hours later I feel bad again

After taking Eliquis for 3years , I began experiencing extreme joint pain in shoulder and fingers. Early morning dizziness are also beginning. I have had cryo - balloon ablation and am waiting until next month to be taken off this drug. My af- fib is gone and I will go on aspirin only. ## Hello, Benchin! How are you? i am having abdomen pain and loose motion after eating two mango .also changed my urine colour to yellow.please i am dying from this pain . ## Have you consulted a doctor? How long did this happen, after eating the mango? If it was very close to the time you ate them, then it may not be from the mango, at all, but from something you ate earlier in the day. Anytime you are experiencing pain that severe, you should contact your nearest emergency services, as your life may be at risk.

I've recently had symptoms of a head cold. Now, my right ear and under my right chin aches. Can I take Guaifenex PSE to heal the symptoms. If not, what should I do. Feels like the head cold is not quite gone. I have inner ear problems that is set off by cool breeze. this happens with both ears and sometimes for a few days. Doctor calls it Trigeminal Neuralgia and persribed Gabapentin. Medication does not work. Would like to find someone with the same problem

I am retired early due to back problems. I have been on hydrocodone 10/325 for years-up to 6/day. I was given Opana 10mg 3/day by my pain doctor. I willingly decreased that to 2/day and it worked. My doc 1 month later switched to 7.5/2 day and I had to take more hydro in addition to 2 Aleve/day. I told her my problem and yet she then switched me to 5mg Opana 2/day and I still have the hydro 10/325 of which I take 6/day in addition to 3 Aleve PLUS 4-6 200mg Tylenol. I saw her last week and stated I am worried about my liver...she recommended some PRP which is NOT covered by ins. and didn't work other times I had it done. Her office is now doing injections/mess for weight loss as well as 'cool sculpting' and other 'cash' procedures including 'vampire face lift'...

I will be having my second injection of prolia next month. I am experiencing back pain now and then. Sometimes when I have been in arm chair for awhile and when I first get out of bed in a.m.it is quite painful. Other times there is no pain and I feel good. I have been taking contrave for about 2 years on and off and have lost around 50-60 lb. I was diagnosed this year with menears disease I began suffering from horrible vertigo attacks and ringing in my ears. I believe I am noticing a change in my behavior from Irritability to aggression. I am also noticing stiffness and joint pain epecially in my knees. I have been able to maintain my weight with the help of contrave and exercise. I have been in pain management (appropriate / not aggressive ) but going back to work after another back surgery but the job is in Huntsville and my pain doc is UAB in birmingham, I can't take a day off work every month for a pain doctor , I need a 7am or after 5 or Saturday pain clinic in Huntsville . I can't go off meds or I can't work. It's just Avinza 45x3 norco 10x4 and fentynal 100's. Each month. I have multiple spinal disorders and neurological pain diagnosis and Parkinson's . Anyone help point a doctor out? They are trying to help me find somewhere at UAB but no luck.
