This has been prescribed - - there is nothing on the [Rx] label, or the container, stating the ingredients. (I suppose because it IS a prescription.) I have searched far and wide trying to find out the ingredients; is it a combo of colace and ducolax? or simply some company trying to trade on the syllables "duco", since ducolax is a well-known brand name! Thanks. ## From what I could gather, Dulcolax stool softener is the same thing as Colace. They are not different other than the brand name. That said, it does make sense that Ducolace would simply be another brand name of the drug (from a different manufacturer perhaps). I'm surprised the pharmacy who filled your prescription didn't give you more details on it. It seems like they try to get people out of there as quick ...

Recently I have been having trouble with my vision, especially after reading or being on the computer for awhile. It's like a film over my eye. I went to an optometrist, and his diagnosis was that my tear ducks were not working properly, mostly in one eye but a little also in the other. He said that this could be a side affect of metoprolol, which I have been taking for several weeks -- (Metoprolol ER succinate 25mg. twice a day. I was prescribed this for a heart skipping, short of breath feeling, a result from mytrovalve prolapse in my heart valve. Has anyone else taking this medicine have problems in their vision? ## Actually, vision problems are a very well-known side effect of these types of medications, including Metoprolol, you may also experience headache, dizziness and joint...

My 6 month old daughter has had a blocked tear duct since she was born. Her doctor says it will go away on it's own but it hasn't. It's constantly mucusing. My husbands family recommended terramicina, I have some I'm just a little worried to use is can someone give me there opinion? ## dannelley constant mucusing especially if its greenish usually indicates an infection and does require antibiotis, but I wouldn't put anything in her eye that wasn't prescribed, you can try a non stinging shampoo like johnsons baby shampoo to clean her eye, this will clean it and not sting, try talking to your doctor again

I am now using them for intestinal spasms ## The side effects do not necessarily change when you combine medications, however, some can intensify the side effects in a synergistic manner. For instance, since the mineral oil can treat constipation, combining it with the Dulcolax may cause diarrhea and loose bowels. Urobicid contains the active ingredient Norfloxacin, this is an anitbiotic. One of its side effects is diarrhea, so you may run into some severe bowel problems if you use all of these together. Baralgin contains Metamizole, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and stomach irritation. Do you have any other questions? ## What if you combine mineral oil with baralgin . I just did a hemorrhoids operation ## I would use the minera...

This medicine was used during my tear duct surgery. Is this normal. My insurance company will not pay for it. ## I'm sorry, but do not have any surgeons on site, so we have no information on what medications may, or may not be necessary during surgery, of any type. What reason did they give for not covering it? Have you tried asking the surgeon, or the hospital?

i have recurring stones in my bile duct. have a prescription for buscopan...8 at once if having a bad attach, does that sound correct? ## Buscopan contains the active ingredient Hyoscine, it is used as an abdominal antispasmodic. And no, that doesn't sound right, on their website about the medication, the manufacturer lists the dosing as 2 tablets, taken 4 times a day, rather than all at once. Have you tried asking your doctor about it?

I have a sore breast with clogged duct. I am going to take the antibiotic Doxycycline. I am still breast feeding a 12 month old. There shouldn't be any problems, right? ## Did your doc prescribe it? If you’re breast-feeding, you need to make sure that the drug you’re taking won’t get to your baby via your breast milk. ## Short term use is not considered problematic, according to FDA information, but long-term use may be a concern, since it can be excreted in breast milk. Thus, make sure to only take it as prescribed, and keep all appointments with your doctor. The FDA list the typical side effects of Doxycyline as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash. Is there anything else I can help with?

Do you think the vitamin helped avoid the infection? maryjane 40yrs old ## Hi, Maryjane! How are you? And yes, there's a chance that it could have helped avoid the infection by boosting your immune system, especially if it has Vitamin D in it, since it's known to be low in most instances where people get infections. Has your doctor ever run blood tests to check ...

What will two of them do to me? ## Hello, Ducky! How are you? Upjohn lists this tablet as containing 1mg of Alprazolam, which is a benzodiazepine that's used to treat anxiety, nervous disorders, seizures and insomnia. As listed by the U.S. FDA it carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Two of them could cause a lot more sedation and drowsiness, than usual, but in most countries it is available in a 2mg tablet, so that is not usually a dangerous amount to take, unless someone is allergic to it, or isn't used to taking it. How much has your doctor instructed you to take? How are you feeling? Any shallow breathing or severe dizziness? If so, seek medical attention.
