Drug Test Flexeril

My husband has a really good job and took a flexeril will it show up in a hair test test. He just took one. ## It should not show up on a routine drug screen. Some folks claim that it does in fact show up as an anti depressant but not likely they would be testing for that. And I don't believe I've heard of anyone being questioned about having an anti deppresant in their system. Basically they can test for anything they want, but the most cost effective drug screens test 4 the mainstream abused drugs. My husband & I both were tested randomly 4 6 months to get custody of his kids & I had taken flexeril following an accident. Nobody ever said anything to me about it & we have the kids now! Flexeril absolutely does show up on a drug screen as an anti-deppressent. Anyone who says otherwise should not be commenting on something that they know nothing about ## Why would flexeril show up as an anti-depressant? Im not taking anything right now,however i am waiting to be seen by a new dr.i suffer from fibromyalgia i want to take one flexeril and i am being tested for benzos and thc,alcohol,opiates,cocaine ,and meth. I will test again in around 48 hours will this be a positive test for benzos? ## Hi jess, Flexeril (Cyclobenzaprine) is known to cause false positives for Tricyclic Antidepressants (TCA). I'm not aware of any other findings outside of this one, but I'd be interested in knowing how the drug test turned out for you? Also, most places don't even test for muscle relaxants, so I would think that you should be fine from the start. I hope this helps!

I took flexeril last night and just took a drug test today. I know for a fact that flexeril will not show up on a drug test if its not being tested for. I took a six panel drug test and passed. ## What if its a methadone Clínic test? ## No it won't show up. I went to a Methadone Clinic for 10years and I had been prescribed flexeril and no it doesn't show up.

Yeah flexeril will show up as a TCA. I know for a fact that the strip test that's used are not 100% accurate, that's why they are sent to a lab to be broken down and tested. Flexeril is a known common drug to give a false positive for TCA. Which it has happened to me before. Although anti-depressants are not tested for unless you are taking them and the doctor may test you to check if they are in your system. Now if you are on a anti-depressants that's not a TCA it will not show up but show up as the drug you're on. On the other hand if you take flexeril and a non TCA anti depressant the flexeril could show up as a TCA. Follow this link for more information on TCA and flexeril

I took three 10 mg flexeril all at once 6 days ago today (Monday)so its been almost a week ago. I read that the half life is 18 hrs but some sites say possibly up to two weeks for it to fully clear your system. I'm not a regular user at all. I have to take a urine test for a government position tomorrow an I'm pretty sure its the kind they send off. I've been drinking about a gallon of water all day. My question is. Do u think its completely out of my system by now I'm about 5'9 180 pounds. PLS HELP MEEEEE!! ## It shouldn't show up. It's a non narcotic. But some over the counter things show up so it might. I took 3 1mg xanax today (tuesday) and I have a drug test on thursday for probation. I take lortab and flexeril perscribed. Is there anything I can do to pass that ua for xanax? The drug test is a 15 strip test. ## No, you most likely are going back in

if i dont take xanax or any type of drugs i only take flexeril 10 mg and ibuprofin and multi vitamin but my husband takes valum 10mg 1x a day and we dont use protection during sex and was wondering if that or any thing im taking would show a false positive on a urin drug test ## No, there is nothing that you've listed that would explain it. However, there has been a recent run of tests on the market that do not seem to be very reliable and many people have been reporting false positives. This is also a danger, when someone uses a cheaper, uncertified test. Have you discussed this issue with your doctor?

I am prescribed both valium and flexeril. Do they show up different in urine drug screening? ## Does Valium and/or Flexeril show up in a urinalysis? I have one tomorrow. Will Valium (5mg) show up the same as Flexeril? ## Hey Sissy, if the drug test you are given looks for the presence of benzodiazepines then yes the Valium will show up. The answer to your second question, Valium and flexeril will not show up the same on a drug test as they are two completely separate classes of drugs. Hope this is helpful

Will provigil cause you to fail a drug test? I do have a script so I am not worried just extremely curious ## I take suboxone and failed my drug test for oxycodone which is equilvalent to a 5mg oxycodone pill. I took 2 10mg flexerils because I was in pain. They are non narcotic muscle relaxers. what does amitriptyline come up as in a false positive drug test? ## Will Elavil (amitriptyline) show any results on hair drug test? I've been taking a weekly Urine Analysis for over 4 months and have had over 23 consecutive positives for Flexeril and I've never taken it in my life. Is it possible that taking that much Amitriptyline a night could be producing this false positive even when they are being sent to a lab? Also, if so please provide some backing evidence.

my heart rate runs in the 40's, however it has been recorded as low as 38....and i'm not an athlete, just a regular 21 year old guy, decent shape(physically). My doc just prescribed Flexeril for some muscle spasms I recently had in my lower back. Being a muscle relaxer im afraid to take them, I don't want to fall asleep and not wake up! ## Yeah, that's hard to say, since it can cause depression of the central nervous system, so there is a chance that it could cause it to drop even lower, according to the FDA. Have they done any tests to see why your heart rate is so low? Is your blood pressure usually normal? Are you on any other medications? Do you exercise regularly? Do you take any supplements?

I take Flexeril, Xanax, and Norco. My dr is discharging me today because they say I tested positive last month for Klonopin even though I have never taken it nor do I know anyone who takes it! This is just ridiculous. I asked the office for a way to appeal it or something but they say there is nothing I can do! ## Klonopin is a benzo like Xanax. Of course you would test positive. I don't think they test to differentiate between which benzo. They are what they are.

I tested positive for oxazepam. I take no prescription medications. I have been taking cranberry tablets, cystex, ibuprofen and benadryl. Is there anything that could cause that because I haven't taken anything like that. ## I do testing for cps. Will benadryl. Show up as a ppositive on the meth ua panel ## I am on the methadone program and they did a saliva drug test and I came up dirty for benzos and I do not know why cause I have never takin any benzos ever what could cause this? Oxy can show up as Morphine, but I would like to know if it ever goes the other way?.... Will Morphine ever show up as Oxy? Or is anyone aware of any false positives? Or does anyone know of any other related possibilities that would/could make Morphine may show up as Oxy? ## I just was tested I am on oxycodone and oxycotin. I comes up specifically for each drug now. Oxycodone breaks down to morphone, not morphine, not misspelled!!! It also shows as norophone. I have the paper in front of me. Morphine was NOT detected!! They are very drug specific. It even has different types of every individual opiate out there. Even benzo's are specific and muscle relaxers, like soma, flexerill etc.. Hope I helped

Can that cause a dirty result for benzo? ## The Cyclobenzaprine in Flexeril isn't known to cause false positives for Benzodiazepines, but it has been known to cause them for Tricyclic antidepressants.
