Been off Gabby for months now and starting to feel like my old self except still having digestive issues..bloating, small stomach aches that are getting better.. Has anyone else dealt with this problem? Dr. has me taking Zantac and also trying Beano and gas x..just makes me very uncomfortable at times. Hope everyone is doing better.. Thanks ## I get that terrible bloated feeling and take just one ginger tablet. They work fast and no side effects. Buy them at any drug store or health food store. ## Hello, Sandy! How are you? Most medications can irritate the stomach and cause some damage with long-term use and it may take awhile for it to heal, as reported by the FDA. Are you taking any medications other than what you've mentioned? Do you watch what you eat? You may need to keep your...

Someone told me this is made from snake venom, is that true? Is that how the blood pressure is reduced? ## Hi Gabby, This is an interesting question that I would like to find out more information on as well... Based on my research, Lisinopril is reportedly a "synthetic peptide derivative" - which from what I understand, has the properties of a long-acting angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It's chemical description is listed as follows: (S)-1-[N2-(1-carboxy-3-phenylpropyl)-L-lysyl]-L-proline dihydrate If you have a specific drug manufacturer in mind who makes Lisinopril or other blood pressure medications, perhaps it would be best to contact them directly for more specific details. I hope this helps! ## Is Lisinopril made from snake venom? I have been told that t...

Been off Gabby for 5 weeks. Feeling pretty good except still have tightness in chest off and on. Anyone else have chest pain? Was on high dose for quite a while. Got off it too fast. ## Hello, Sandy! How are you? You should have this checked out by your doctor to be safe, there are many things that could cause chest pain and some of them are very dangerous, such as heart conditions. The typical withdrawal effects of Gabapentin are listed by the FDA as possibly including nausea, dizziness, fever, chills, rebound pain, depression, anxiety, seizures and diarrhea. There's a chance the chest pain is associated, but after 5 weeks, most symptoms should be gone. Are you any other medications? ## Just B P meds! Not really a pain more of an ache. Not bad and with all the other withdrawals it ...

Can you take a Westward 325 and Percocet 10 at the same time? ## Hi Gabby, I was unable to identify the "westward 325" pill you mentioned. Is it a generic Vicodin with 325mgs of Acetaminophen? If so, I wouldn't recommend taking Percocet (Oxycodone) with Hydrocodone, just because of the additive effect and not knowing how "your" body is going to react to it. Some people may take them together no problem, depending on the dosages; so I would assess your tolerance levels before taking a full dose together, if that is in fact Hydrocodone you're referring to... I hope this helps!

I found a pill has a line in the middle on one side and A M B E E on the otherside please help ## HI, Gabby! I'm sorry, but I haven't been able to find an identification for this, yet. I am not familiar with that logo, at all and I've seen tons of them. In light of that, my best guess is that it's either something that's available over the counter, since those aren't required to be listed with the FDA, or it's a foreign medication. Where did you find it? The best thing to do would just be to make sure to dispose of it properly.

I normally recieve blue loritabs this month went to the pharmacy that didnt pay attention to scripts they were filling because they tried to double up a new antidepressent w another stronger antidepressant from my file that I no longer take cuz it makes me sick. So the pills I got this month are labeled the same Hydrocodon-acetaminophn 10-500 but are pink instead of blue and have a V on 1 side and 3600 on the other??? ## Hi gabby, In this case, it appears that both pills have the same dosage and are likely just manufactured by different companies. When you switch brand names, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. Certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand, are actually detrimental to how the ...

These pills are white, oblong and are scored like gabapentin are. On one side they have a S G and on the other is a 1 78. Are these gabapentin / neurontin? ## Hello, Gabby! How are you? Yes, this tablet is manufactured by ScieGen Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 800mgs of Gabapentin (NDC 50228-0178). The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings, dry mouth, and weight gain. However, there are many oval, white tablets that are scored, so please don't assume that they all contain Gabapentin. Inactive Ingredients: - Poloxamer 407 - Mannitol - Magnesium Stearate - Hydroxypropyl Cellulose (Type H) - Talc - Copovidone K25-31 - Crospovidone - Silicon Dioxide - Hypromelloses - Titanium Dioxide - Polyethylene Glycol ## Are...

I started using nustrate on the 1st of november and had intercourse 1 day after. Could I get pregnant, or does the injection become effective immediately after being shot? ## Hello, Gabby079! How are you? That may have been too soon to prevent pregnancy, if you had already ovulated prior to getting the shot. Have you consulted your doctor? You should do so as soon as possible to be certain of what's going on.

Most comments are from a few years ago do anyone still take sotalol. I just started to take it and the side effect are unbearable......is there another medication I can take instead of sotalol. ## Hello, Gabby! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're so miserable. What side effects are you experiencing? The FDA lists the typical ones for this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, tiredness and weakness. How long have you been taking it? Most side effects will improve and gradually go away entirely, after about 4 to 5 weeks, once your body gets used to the medication. What are you taking it to treat?

I am on 600mgs gabapentin 3 times daily. It has caused weight gain and due to the short duration of action I have to dose three separate times. I wanted to know if pregabalin might be better for me. I take gabbys for anxiety and mood disorder. I have heard pregabalin is more efficient and effective. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks. ## There's no way to say which one is more efficient and effective for any given person that tries it, since we are all different. What works well for one person may not work for another, and vice versa. As reported by the FDA, they both carry the risk of causing similar side effects, which aside from the weight gain, may also include nausea, dizziness, headache, and mood swings. Have you discussed the issues with your doctor?

I have watery diarrhea and don't think it's a virus since I don't have a fever but I can't stop going to the restroom. Can I use it to treat this? It's 500 mg Pfizer Terramicina. ## Hello, Gabby! How are you? Are you still having diarrhea? Not all viruses cause a fever and, depending on what's causing it, an antibiotic could make the diarrhea even worse, since that's one of their typical side effects. The FDA lists the others as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and non-allergic skin rash. I caught a nasty stomach bug last October, but had no fever, even though I had a lot of nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. It took 3 weeks to fully recover. Have you tried anything else to help stop the diarrhea? You should have this checked out to find out for sur...

Im allergic to all quinalone,is it safe for me to take amox k clav 500,im scared becouse ive had three severe allergic reactions wich ended up in the ER.i just want to make shure its safe for me to take,it was prescribed for throught infection. ## Hello. Gabby! How are you? The ingredients in this are Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid, it's a generic for Augmentin and is an antibiotic that's used to treat various types of infections, so this one is in the Penicillin class of antibiotics. That doesn't mean you may not have another allergy problem, there's no way I can know that, but it is a completely different type. Common side effects to it may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Learn more Augmentin details here. Is there anything else I can h...

I took 52 mgs of cyproheptadine in one dose. I didn't know it caused weight gain. I don't want to gain weight just wanted to sleep. If I stop now will I still gain the unwanted weight? And when will it leave my body? ThanKs ps I only took it this once but I took a super high dose, when will it leave my body. ## Hi gabby, From what I've researched, weight gain is in fact listed as a "possible" side effect of Cyproheptadine; but this doesn't mean it happens to everyone who takes it...which is probably why we aren't really concerned about these things until they actually begin to manifest. Odds are though, that these types of side effects usually tend to subside after you stop taking what's causing it to begin with. According to the Journal of Analytical Tox...

I was taking Cymgen 60mg for about 7 months, and I recently changed to Brintellix. To ween myself off of Cymgen, I took a half dosage for 8 days, then took both my new prescription of Brintellix and my half dose of Cymgen for another 4 days before completely stopping with Cymgen, as recommended by my psychiatrist. I have had horrible withdrawal symptoms, and I'd like some indication of how long they should last for? They include vertigo, dizziness, headaches, nausea etc.. ## Hello, Gabby! How are you? Have your symptoms gotten any better? You may actually be experiencing a double whammy, withdrawal effects from stopping the one, as well as new side effects from starting the Brintellix, the FDA lists everything you mentioned as being among it's typical side effects. You may also ...

Ok so i used tho medication and got what i would like to think is a yeast infection. Thick white skimpy discharge but without the smell or itch. And i went to my GYN and was testednegative for everything but e coli wwhich was why i took it. But now there is this discjarge so i am now using an over the counter 3 day monistat to hopefully clear the symptoms and side effects of the medication. If this does not work then i will talk to another GYN because frankly im not happy with the way my current doctor treats me as a patient. ## Hello, Gabby! How are you? This medication is an antibiotic and most of them can cause a yeast infection, as a side effect, as listed by the FDA, along with nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash, headache and diarrhea. However, if you didn't have any itc...
