My Dr has moved. I am now without a Dr for my patches...I only have 4 left. Two Drs I went to do not prescribe. Please help. Thank you... ## Hello, Jeri! How are you? If you require such a strong narcotic for pain management, you'll need to see a pain management specialist and if you're going to doctors and just asking if they'll prescribe it, they'll usually see that as being drug seeking behavior and just tell you no. You need to see a new doctor and basically let your medical records speak for you. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area? I am disabled and have never taken any illicit drugs. i've been prescribed methadone from a Doctor in Dallas for many years. I also have mobility issues as well, as I have had spinal cord surgery to alleviate chronic pain. My Dr is retiring after 40 years and Its mandatory that I find a new doctor. I have medical records and would be blessed to find someone who could help me. Going to a methadone clinic is not an option because they are treatment centers and will.not accept patients unless you lie and say you misuse your medication. I know that I was protective of giving out my Drs name as.a.referral but I have in dire cases like my own. If you can help I can a will help you for your generosity and understanding. Found a great pain Dr.in Dallas,Texas.. His name is Dr. Salvatore Campos. He is on Buckner and Garland Red. Very good Dr. for pain. Thank you. Jerry ## What did he prescribe to you? Was he kind and take time with you, or just rush you right out? I need a Dr to work with me that will give me what I need based on condition and pain level. ## Yes he gave me my oxycontin and Duragesic Patches. He spends a lot of time with you. Take your records with you or have them sent. Also I took my meds that I am taking..since he did not have my records yet.He is very kind and caring. I was very impressed with his bedside manner. I need help I just moved to the dallas texas area and I need to find a doctor that will prescribe suboxone I have been on it for years because of back pain I am almost out of my Prescription and don't know where to go ## Hi, Go to the suboxone website. You,ll see a search engine thing where you enter your zipcode, it,ll show sub drs in your area. Some phyciatrists can prescibe subs and I,ve read some pain drs can also. Hello I'm new here and I'm trying to find a clinic, family, doctor, or pharmacy to help me get ahold of some Subutex before I have any of my meds changed. Does Methadone work well for Neuropathy in the hands & mouth? I'm in need of pain management in Tyler, Tx or around east Texas. ## How do you administer the methadone? Is it in pill form? I have taken both pill form & liquid form, but the liquid form doesn't help pain and was not helping much. It even says that in PDR. I had a Dr that gave me methadone 10mg qid. I am a retired nurse. I have chronic pain from 3 places in my nerves, cervex, and lower gum area. My nerve pain stems from my fingers. I have peripheral neuropathy which is no fun now, cause I can tell where the nerve is.
