I had osteomyelitis a few years back. Was on methadone & vicodin until I got pregnant with my son. Got switched to suboxone and have been on it since. I've recently been diagnosed with ADHD, I'm 32 & it explains so much now. Anyway, I need to find a Dr who will be OK with writing me for both meds. Or 2 separate drs who will still be OK with me being on the meds ## Hello, Lilmama3! How are you? I'm so glad that you finally got the correct diagnosis. Yes, you'll need to see different specialists for such medications, so you'll need to see a psychiatrist to have Adderall, or another medication prescribed for the ADHD. You will most likely need to clear it with your Suboxone doctor, though, since these medications are also controlled substances. Do you currently ... ...

Looking for a doctor in Tampa, FL ADHD Ritalin Adderall
4 Replies RSS
New to the area and looking for a doctor who won't be a pain about prescribing Ritalin or Adderall for adult ADHD. ## Well, the best thing you can do is to make an appointment with a new doctor and not ask for any particular medication up front. You need to get in for an appointment first and then discuss your treatment options. However, since these are controlled substance medications, doctors do have to be careful about prescribing them, so you aren't going to find a doctor that will just be carefree and throw prescriptions at you. Learn more Ritalin details here. Learn more Adderall details here. Does anyone know of a doctor in this area that they can recommend? ## Looking for dr. in NE Indiana that prescribes Ritalin/adderall without doing pharmacy checks, and doesnt give yo... ...

Adderall questions

So I am on my 6th day of Adderal that was prescribed by my doctor since he felt that my symptoms I told him about we're due to ADHD. My doctor warned me that this can be a addictive drug and that it is much abused by people because of the high it can produce. So I started doing research and watching video's of people who have used it and I was starting to question taking it. Now that I have started taking it and have experienced what it's like to be on it I really don't understand how people get off on this. I am currently taking the 20mg RX. My first day on it I would say that I could slightly feel that I had taken something but hardly worth mentioning since allergy medication messes me up way more after the first day even that feeling has subsided. I noticed that with ... ...

I was prescribed adderall a while ago when I was in college I'm back in grad school & I'm a single mother w/limited insurance I really need to find a dr in md/dc who will perscribe it to me easily w/out a million drs appointments any recommendations would be helpful thxs ## Hi sjmom, To my knowledge, virtually any type of doctor can see you for ADHD (pediatrician, psychiatrist, regular MD). Whether or not they want to pursue treatment is up to them and if so they might go for another medication rather than Adderall. Chances are if you walk in and say you have ADHD, then ask for an Adderall script you won't get it because it is seen as what they call "drug seeking behavior". Some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any 'specific medication'... ...

finding a Doctor

I was seeing a Dr. for 3 yrs. that was prescribing Adderall for me ..it changed my life for the better ! The Dr. quit his practice and I have not been able to find a Dr. who will prescribe this drug ! I was taking a very low dose . I thought I would just do without and see how it goes ..it's been 6 months and I can feel myself slipping into depression and lethargy much like I've lived my whole life and I know I don't have to feel this way anymore ! I exercise ..and overall take very good care of myself. ## Adderall is not used to treat depression and lethargy, it is used to treat ADHD and doctors are not going to prescribe it for you without such a diagnosis. Have you tried antidepressants or therapy? ## before dr left his practice , did he not tell you beforehand, if so you... ...

What is a light blue pill with u27 imprinted on one side
6 Replies RSS
Light blue with cross on one side and other side has u27, a round pill ## This tablet contains 10mgs of Mixed Amphetamine salts, it is a generic for Adderall, which is most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Does this act or give the same effect as the narcotic known as methamphetamine? ## I'm a kid who was prescribed this by my doctor, but he wasn't giving me them, he was selling them and he told my doctor I needed a higher dose so he could sell them at a higher price. But then my Aunt got temporary custody of me so she made me take them not knowing what happened and so I have... ...

Is there such a drug called vyvan and if so could you please tell me what it is prescribed for. is this a drug that can be easily bought on the streets or must someone go to a doctor to get this medication. I currently have a cousin who is taking this medication but I can't seem to find much about it on the internet. Thank you for your help. ## Its probably vyvanse. Its an ADHD medication. I dont know if its sold on the street. ## I think you may be talking about Vyvanse, which is an amphetamine used to treat ADHD, similar to adderall. Not sure, just throwing this out there. May be the reason you're not finding anything on the internet about it too? Hope this helps. ## I have to agree with Sandra, that is the most likely choice. Here's a link to more Vyvanse details.
