pain meds in san diego area

I am moving to San Diego in a month or so and am prescribed morphine sulfate 2 times daily for spinal stenosis and degenerative disk disease and I'm afraid that I will have a hard time finding a doctor that will continue my treatment.I am also on flexeril, gabapentin and another med for depression.I have contacted a few doctors out there but no one seems to be willing to continue the treatment I now receive. I am a chronic pain patient with a Legitimate Condition and tired of being treated like a drug abuser because of people that DO abuse meds like this one! I've also ran the gambit of Pain Management clinics that seem to only want to inject steroids in your spine & also physical therapy and you name it. The med regiment I'm on now, work perfectly & I'm told by ... ...

Considering withdrawal because of difficulty getting medications

I am a RSD patient that felt fortunate I only took 3 1/2 years to be diagnosed. For the last 8 years , in East Tn,I have been taking oxycontin and oxycodone, now some new law is passed and I can no longer get my Rx from my pain Dr, because they don't have the license required to be able to write Rx as large as my past (which I have become very use to & are working less than in pass) so I am sent to a clinic with this license. All if a sudden I am being treated like a hard core criminal trying to scam them, with my current MRI's and nerve diagnostics! I was photographed and then filmed after the ua stating my name and date of birth as I put urine in bag to be sent off to San Diego for a 16 panel analysis that cost $1,137, for the ua! The P.A. who I was assigned to, I couldn... ...

dr that prescribe subutex san diego ca

I have a metal rod that has 5 of my vertebrae fused together so I experience pain but do not ewant a lot of the strong pain killers I get addicted to. Suboxone requires at least 48 hrs of detox before use and I have children and a job so I do not have 72 hrs to be out of commission. I'd like to start on subutex immediately. ## I am sorry, Nathan, but Subutex requires the same detox period. You must be in full withdrawal, or they might throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, vomiting, chills, fever, and seizures. There is also a risk of them being fatal. The active ingredient, which is Buprenorphine, takes a stronger hold on the opiate receptors in your brain than other opiates do, so basically kicks them out, which can cau... ...

Have lots of pain

Hi Dr. I'm 49 years of age and I have cronic Osteoarthritis on both knees, both wrists and hands, lower back and left shoulder. I've been taking meds for 10 years (give or take). I used to live in San Diego and after trying all kinds of medication the Dr. ended giving me morphine ER 30mg and Norco 10/325. I was taking 3 to 4 morphines daily and 6 to 8 Norcos daily. With time he pump me up to 60mg instead of 30mg of the morphine. Since I couldn't work anymore, I lost everything and had to move to L.A. county where I have relatives. I got a Dr. there but he said I was taking too much medication so he took away the Norcos and gave me the morphine but 30mg and only 3 daily. After a couple of months I told him that they weren't working too well so he gave me 60mg 3 daily. Aft... ...

Psychiatrist Xanax

I need a new dr that will prescribe my klonopin and percocet. Either that or a mail order Ican get it thru. My dr retired. ## You can't get either one without seeing an actual doctor for a regular exam/evaluation. Those are prescribing requirements. And under the new laws, you'll most likely not be able to get both from the same doctor, since medications required for any type of long-term pain management will have to be prescribed by a pain management doctor. Learn more Percocet details here. Learn more Klonopin details here. By default that means you'll have to get your Klonopin from a different doctor. Can you post back with your general location? That will help you get more answers, since this site is open to all countries and someone knowing a doctor in San Diego isn... ...
