What snacks can I take with my doze since the bottle instructs not to take antacids, vitamins, iron, or dairy products within 2 of taking this medication...... ## This seems pretty unavoidable, since just about all food naturally contains vitamins and minerals or is fortified with them. Can this be used to clear an infection post circumcision on a 10 year old boy? He doesn't have any drug allergies that I know of. ## At such a young age, I strongly urge you to take him to a doctor and let them prescribe an appropriate medication, if an infection is present. I have also been given CEPHALEXIN 500mg CAP LUP Are there any alternatives??? ## The first thing you need to understand is that cellulitis can be a very dangerous infection. In cases where people left it untreated, they have lost limbs or had to have large sections of flesh and muscle tissue removed that resulted in permanent scarring and disfigurement. There have even been cases where it turned fatal, because the infection became systemic. So, the point I'm trying to make is that the risks are far, far greater if you don't take the antibiotics and let the infection continue out of control. And as to their being alternatives, no there aren&... ...
