I have been drug testing for DCFS for a couple months and i have restless leg syndrome so i usually take neurontin for it, but it is not prescribed. So since i have been drug testing i have been iffy about taking it cause i dont know what or if it shows up in a drug test, they spin test my urine. Will it show up in my system with a spin test and if so what will it show up as? ## I got tested after leaving detox into sober living and came up positive in a pee test for benzos. Gabapentin (neurontin) does not show up as anything in a drug test. If it had the chance to show up as anything, a benzo maybe but definitely not coke or crack. I don't take neurontin and have never taken it. I have been on methadone for 8 years and have been taking urine drug screens the entire time. This past month my screen showed that I had taken neurontin, as I stated I don't take it. I take over the counter medicine for acid reflux and a sleep aid which is just benadryl. Does anyone have any ideas what would cause this to show up in my test? I have lost some of my privileges due to this showing up. I take a drug test for my pain doctor. I do NOT use any other meds other than what's subscribed by my pain Dr. The last test test showed up with neurontin in my urine. I do not take lyrica. I received a letter from my doctor saying that I must be getting lyrica from someone else, violating our agreement. I do take neurontin. But I do not take lyrica. Help!! I failed a drug test for a job and I showed positive for methadone and morphine, but I take neurontin, tramadol, atorvastatin, losartan, and 70/30 insulin novolin 1000 milligram. I came up positive today for methamphetamine on a urine test. I've never touched that drug a day in my life. Does too much of it in your system cause that? My pain dr tests me of course and he doesn't give me nearly half of what my now non-practicing dr gave me for bulging disc and osteoarthritis in my l4 and l5 and s1 discs. I went to my suboxone doctor today and it showed up as opiates. He asked me if I had relapsed and I said 'no, what are you talking about?' He said it showed positive for opiates, so now I have to go back in the morning.
