My father is passing away and my mom has buspar. Does it show up on a drug ua test? I go to a pain clinic and don't want to be in trouble. ## I have recently been started on Buspar and Buspirone. I have applied for a new job and have to take a urine drug screen so I have stopped both drugs. How long will they stay in my system and possibly cause a false positive on the urine drug screen? ## Does zanaprin show up in my drug test at a methadone clinic? I think its a 19 panel test. I'm on probation and get drug tested twice a week. Is buspar going to show up at all, as anything? I'm persribed, just didnt think to tell them about it first. ## BuSpar contains the active ingredient Buspirone. That said, not it will not show up as anything. Ok so I take luvox, proprananol, ambian, Ativan, and Buspar for years and they are prescribed for me. I sometimes take seriquel and melatonin for sleep. I also take Tylenol. Will I fail a pee test for employment? Also my roommate smokes pot occasional lyrics but I do not. Will it show up as second hand THC-is there such a thing? As you can probably tell I have anxiety.

Will Buspar show up in urine screen? ## Hi Sally, From what I could gather, a standard drug test will generally not test for this drug in your system, but a specific lab test that is looking for it can and will detect the drug. However, if you have a prescription, just let them know prior to your test and you wont have to worry about it anyways. I would actually be more concerned about possibly having a false positive on the drug screen for something else, just because I hear about it happening so often with many other drugs. But other than that you should be fine based on a number of personal reviews I have read on the topic. I hope this helps!

I take soma, lortab, trazadone, buspar, Vistaril, Zoloft, melatonin, valerian root, naproxen, and occasionally Benadryl. I showed up benzos in my drug test and my doctor uses a good test, so I am puzzled. Hello, I am taking buspar, topamax and zoloft. At court my drug test results were NEGATIVE but showed traces of benzo, barbituates, pcp and marijuana. I have been clean for over three months and although the results said negative, the child advocate and lawyer said that I was positive because of very low traces. Does that happen??

I had a surprise drug screening done by my probation officer. I had done little bit of cocaine, and tested positive for that and suboxone. I have never taken suboxone before. I am on buspar, wellbutrin, and nuerontin, and just recently started the nuerontin. I have never seen a test that test for different benzos. ## Actually, it can depend on the type of test your doctor is using.
