Doctors Who Prescribe Methadone In Ga

Been on 60mg of methadone for the past 12 years, been seeing alta pain clinic in Sandy, Utah. I provided them with a copy of the EKG that I have an upper gi burning that they wanted to run few tests and one of them was EKG last August one of the urgent care after hours because it was on the weekend, alta pain been asking me to get an EKG for the past few months and i gave them the one I had by urgent care, when they looked at EKG they said oh you're fine you're very lucky because your heart is fine and it's okay, all the sudden as of January 1st visit He tells me that oh you have a QT prolongation your hearts we want to switch your med's, anyway they put me on Opana er 30 mg twice a day with a cocktail of oxycodone Ir 10mg 4 times a day and 10 mg Valium three times a day...

Struggled with severe migraines since childhood. Double Visio, nausea, was on imitrex, torodol, topaz, too many yo name. Finally found relief with generic hydro of one, but then decided to manage everything by switching to suboxone. Since the pain factor is not effected one way or another, a friend had mentioned her chronic pain controlled by methadone. Don’t know where in Columbia SC to find a doctor or if this is some place you have to visit everyday. That would be expensive gas and interfere with my career.

I have been going to a methadone clinic for 5 yrs now...I have a medical card also..Its getting where it is hard for me to have gas money everyday to go get my methadone . I have been on methadone for about 6 years and had to start going to a maintenance clinic a few yrs ago after my pain dr lost his license here in Phoenix, Arizona. I tried going to another pain clinic after mine closed but they wanted me off the methadone and forced me to taper off of it in one week and demanded I took gabapentin which DOES NOT work and they didn't care. Anyways, I went to mmt clinic and have been there since but there are so many things wrong with it, I'd end up writing a book. I am 56 years old and am disabled due to a work-related injury therefore I am rich by no means! I have heard that they are considering taking methadone off the market due to too many overdose issues, plus people on it, get a prescription filled and sell it for profit making it even harder for folks like me who take my meds honestly as prescribed. If Methadone is removed from the market, what am I supposed to do? I already know I can not go off this stuff cold turkey and am scared. I am a 45 yr old female who has chronic pain. 18 yrs ago I was an addict ans was on methadone treatment for 7 yrs in seattle. I moved to Idaho and detoxed off my program for 3+yrs. I had back surgery and was prescribed meds that unfortunatly gave me some physical addiction. I asked my family doc for methadone for pain and explained my past. My son is in rehab and they started him on suboxone one 4md in morning and 8 mg in afternoon. I can't find a provider that prescribes this in northern Harford County Maryland (Not Dr. Gay Please) How much is sub for an entire month supply or even daily. ## this site does not prescribe nor sell any medications.
