And if you need such medications for long-term treatment of chronic pain, you'll most likely have to see a pain management specialist due to the new restrictions that have been put in place. There have been many concerns raised about improper prescribing and over prescribing, so there are new regulations put in place regarding what general practitioners and surgeon can prescribe, how much and for how long they can prescribe it. Help, Seeking new Doc in NJ (Middlesex/Monmouth County areas) I have been going to a pain mgmt. doctor who was giving me oxycontin ER 40mg twice a day and 10mg Percocet 4 times a day for breakthrough pain. They have cut my meds in half in the last 2 months, I have always taken meds correctly and never had a dirty UA. My levels were always good. I Broke my arm on December 4th and was prescribed oxycodone. I only take it at night so I can sleep and deal with the pain during the day so I don't run out before the pain stops. I went to a clinic that is covered by my Low income insurance plan but the doctor refused to reissue my prescription. I don't use drugs and don't have an addictive personality. As far as pet scribing anything, veterinarians do not accept Medicaid, if you are trying to get Roxycodone in your pet's name for you or for your pet and I don't know of any vet that would prescribe that anyway for a pet. If you need a Pain Management Doctor that accepts Medicaid and prescribes Roxycodone or Oxycodone you can try Alabama Pain Center but you have to go through a lot to get in there and through their classes and such and you won't get them right off. I have building disc and stenosis in my neck. Plus compression fracture upper back. Arthritis and scoliosis. With meds I am able to exercise and keep good muscle tone and exercise does wonders for my depression for I'm also bipolar. I want to oxygenate my blood, have cell renewel and stay healthy.
