My brother was on OXYCONTIN blue generic k57 40 mg for torn muscles~ he weighed 252 pounds & was prescribed 30 pills by physician~ we'll to make long story short he took 3 bc of severe pain and died in sleep, how can a man his weight have his heart stop by taking a small amount when he weighs so much? I HAVE BEEN TAKING PAIN Medication it was great for years.The past months I've have noticed a big change the 20mg. I have a pink small pill that says k 57. It looks like the grey k 57 oxycodone. Is it the same drug? I was told it is a 20 mg oxycodone. ## That is a 10 mg Roxy. They are pink. The 20 mg ones are gray. The 15 mg ones are green... Usually a light green. The 30 mg ones are blue. Depending on the maker of each of these they can be different shades of pink, green and blue. Hello I'm taking oxycodone HCL 10 mg 4 time's a day. On one side it has a #12 on it. I can't make make out what's on the other side. At 1st way back in the day I started out on percocet 5/325 then I went to 7.5 mgs then from there my doctor of 15 years put me on 10/325 then 10/650 and now in December of 2015 my family doctor put me on the oxycodone HCL 10 mgs and it help's. Hello, My name is mark. my doctor said that the new drug laws only allow for 200 mg of a opioid daily. I currently am on 4-30mg oxycodone and 2- 30mg 30mg morphine sulphate. I had my foot impaled by a forklift blade in 2007. I almost lost my foot. Four surgeries including nerve and skin grafting from multiple graft sites. My dr to this day has me on a 5mg oxy dosage and will not budge. Yet I know someone who gets 225 oxychodone 30 mg every two weeks for a VERY trumped up injury. This is Bs. Sorry just venting. We are looking for the Oxycodone Hcl liquid that does not have saccarine sweetner in it. ## Most of them are going to contain some type of sweetener, to prevent the oral solutions from tasting awful. I am not sure which company makes any that don't have one of them in it. Have you tried asking your pharmacist if they can located any? Amneal's oxycodone, generic for percocet 10/325 is white, oblong, blank on one side, and imprinted with IP 204 (not IP 203)! I usually take Watson or Mallinckrodt, 10/325, (2) tablets every 4-6 hours (240 monthly), but I was given Amneal today when filling my script, and I am not happy! I have cancer, and I also take morphine sulphate 30 mgs as well (1 every 12 hours), and Fioricet with Codeine for severe migraines (as needed)! I do not feel Amneal is sufficient or even close to the chemical makeup as Watson or Mallinckrodt for controlling pain/chronic pain! i am on methadone 5mg twice a day for long term pain. i am on 10 mg oxycodone four times a day for breakthrough pain. i hate methadone, but its a long story having to do with a stint at a clinic. i couldnt tell my doctor that. i have been taking 10 mg opana ir and they work well, i just have built a tolerance to it. i think the 20 mg twice a day along with two 15mg oxycodone for breakthrough should do me well. i cant take the opana er because they make me sick, do you guys think that what i want is a good enough substitute? any comments and suggestions would be helpful. thanks ## Was on both meds- got off both.
