little round white pill ## Based on the description provided, I found your pill to be Diclofenac potassium (50 mg). Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, taken to reduce inflammation and as an analgesic reducing pain in conditions such as arthritis or acute injury. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you. ## Pretty sure it is Torsenide 20 mg. A diuretic, it is actually PA 917. ## Hi Jodi, It's actually not PA 917 according to the manufacturer "Sandoz Inc". GG 977 is correct. For further verification you can also look up the National Drug Code (NDC) for this pill, which is: 0781-5017-01 More details can be found here: dailymed.nlm.nih.go...

I found this pill on top of one of my cabinets in the house . can you tell me what it might be? ## Could the marking be 5880 V? I actually have these and due to the size and pressing of the imprint, the numbers are difficult to make out on them. However, they contain 25mgs of Spironolactone, which is primarily used as a potassium sparing diuretic and antihypertensive agent. Learn more Spironolactone details here. ## Possibly a Prednisone, a corticosteroid, used primarily for inflammatory conditions. I would advise flushing it down the toilet, or putting it with yucky food trash, so no one will take it by accident or on purpose. It can have nasty side effects.

I just took a Diurex and a mobic within minutes of each other...is this a problem? ## Diurex actually contains Pamabrom, which is claimed to be a diuretic to help with bloating. Mobic contains the active ingredient Meloxicam and is a prescription nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. Unfortunately, since Diurex is actually an over the counter supplement and not a prescription medication, its interactions with prescription medications has not been studied, nor has its side effects. You could try asking your doctor or pharmacist if they have any information. Did you have any other questions?

Is concominent use of lisinopril contraindicated with nicorandil? ## I cannot post a definite answer for you whether Nicorandil and Lisinopril are contraindicated for one another because Nicorandil is not available in the USA. I will, however, summarize some details for you below, which may be of help. First, "Nicorandil acts by relaxing the smooth muscle of the blood vessels, especially those of the venous system. It does this through two methods. Firstly, by activating potassium channels, and secondly by donating nitric oxide to activate the enzyme guanylate cyclase." [1] There are a number of types of medication that can interact with Lisinopril. Those include: Diuretics, Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs, Potassium Supplements, Potassium-Sparing Diuretics, and Lithium. [2...

My husband has suffered from prostatitis for 3 years. He used to have a frequent need to urinate. When urinating, there was pain and burning sensation. He also had pain in his testicle, scrotum, lower abdomen. What's worse, he couldn't sleep well at night because of the frequent urination. Though many treatments have been tried, it's herd to prevent the relapse. Then we tried a herbal medicine called diuretic and anti-inflammatory pill, it worked well on eliminating the pain. After about 4 months medication, all his symptoms cured completely. We were so happy to see the great success. I want to share this story to encourage those who are suffering the same condition as my husband. Don't give in and don't give up, the disease will be cured if you find a proper treatme...

what is flamar-dp used for. i was told it was used for swelling of the feet ## Flamar-DP contains Paracetamol and Diclofenac, it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory used to treat pain, fever and swelling. However, if the swelling in your feet is due to edema/fluid retention, rather than an injury, you should consult your doctor, before using this. NSAIDs can cause fluid retention, which may make your condition worse. If your swelling it caused by fluid retention, you will probably need a different medication, such as a diuretic, to remove the excess fluid from your body. Are there any other questions? ## Is it good for pain in face

I do take oxycodone 5 mg every 12 hours and I take naproxen 440 mg every 8 hours. I have swelling of my feet ankles and lower legs, mostly on the left. The anti-inflamatory properties of the naproxen doesn't seem to help the swelling to reduce at all. What could be inhibiting this? I am also type 2 diabetic and take 1000 mg twice a day. I also mix turmeric and ginger into my herbal tea, at least once per day. I use about 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon of those spices and 1 tbsp raw honey. ## Lisa, Has your doctor ever prescribed or recommended a diuretic like lasix ? I find no contraindications listed for the Concurrent use of NSAIDs /anti inflammatory like Aleve causing edema. As a diabetic on powerful Narcotic meds it's vital you discuss these issues with your treating doctor. I wish you t...
