The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and flatulence. It is commonly used to help treat colic. Is there anything else I can help with?

I live in France now.Before that I lived in Venezuela and regularly took Alevian Duo can I get something equivalent in Europe? ## I live in Canada and cannot find Alevian Duo anywhere here. Does anyone know of an equivalent of this drug or where it can be purchased. ## Hello Heather, I was taking Alevian Duo as well while I was in Nicaragua. Alevian duo (Bromuro de Pinaverio/dimeticona) was recently prescribed for me. It seems to be amazingly effective, but I would like to know more about the medicine. It is distributed by NYCOMED, made in Mexico for Gelcaps Exportadora de Mexico, S.Å. de C.V. ## I have a serious problem with my bowel movements, the Dr told me my colon are not moving properly, and I have an infection, also diverticulitis. He prescribed Mesalazina, now I am considering if Alevianduo would be a good medication for me, my bowels are not forming, just watery, and a lot of gas problem. I would like to hear from you if this med. could go together

This is a medication brought back to me from Mexico for my baby w/ colic...What is in it? (in English) please. Dimeticona 10g, Vehiculo cbp 100 ml, cada mL equivale a 22 gotas. ## The active ingredient is Dimeticone/Dimethicone, it is an antigas medication, but should not be given to an infant, unless their doctor approves. Its side effects may include nasuea, belching, and drowsiness. Is there anything else I can help with?

A medication called PLANEX was prescribed for intestinal cramping in Mexico. I am trying to find out the Canadian replacement. It had 2 ingredients, one being "dimeticona" and the other was a smooth muscle relaxant.
