Arthritis in 30s ?

I am 32 yrs, I had knee pain and ortho doctor suggested me Glucosamine + Diacerein Tablets for a month - Am I a patient of arthritis ? I am too young, How long should I continue the medicine ? ## Have you asked your doctor about what they think is causing the problem and how long you should take the medication? They are the only ones that will really be able to advise you on this. Athritis, however, is possible at any age, there are people even younger than you that suffer from it. The Glucosamine is a substance that naturally occurs in your joints, so supplementing it may help. The Diacerein is often given to treat arthritis, but it isn't used in the U.S., so the information we have on it is very limited. ## Thanks a lot, I am improving though not recovered fully. I am suffering from osteoporisis and i have been recommened Kondro Acute tablets. Actually i wanted to know if it is safe for Kidney as my right kidney is not functioning, only my left kidney is funtioning so i have to be very careful in taking medicines. Please let me know at the earliest. ## Kondro Acute contains Glucosamine and Diacerein, this combines a supplement claimed to help joint mobility with an interleukin-1 inhibitor. So, the main concern here is the Diacerein, since it is the actual drug component. From what I have found, when someone has lowered kidney function, the dosage of this medication must be adjusted accordingly. Lowered renal function can cause 50% more of this medication to be absorbed by the body than normal, which could result in overdose. Was this prescribed ... ...

This also means that the side effect profiles have not been studied, nor have any precautions, since it is not a prescription medication. Kondro Acute contains Glucosamine and Diacerein.
