M 2 ## THIS SHOT WAS GIVEN TO ME IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM FOR MY KIDNEY STONES. THEY ARE TOO BIG TO PASS AND I CANNOT AFFORD SURGERY, I AM AFRAID THE PAIN WILL COME BACK. ## Wow, I am very sorry to hear that. Could you possibly scrape up money for a doctor's visit? That is really the only way to get treatment for the stones and pain. Does anyone else have any ideas to help this person?

My Son was given Deloden when he was in hospital for gallbladder. He became belligerent, had hallcinattions and was hard to deal with. Could this be a allergic reaction with his other pain meds of just a side effect of the drug? ## Hello, Maggie! How are you and your son? The actual name of the medication is Dilaudid, it contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone, it is a very potent narcotic and can sometimes cause those types of side effects in some people that take it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
