HOW FAST CAN D5LR BE RUN, WHEN USING FOR HYDRATION ## Based on my research, the IV fluid (known as "D5 Lactated Ringers Solution", or D5LR) has an infusion rate of 125 ml/hr when using it for hydration. The drug monograph goes on to state that the 5% Dextrose in D5LR can also be useful for daily maintenance of fluid and nutrition...& in-turn promoting rehydration.
