Ok I have been taking suboxone film for a while now an I want to know is it ok to take a suboxone pill I heard they are the same but I'm still sceptical would I be able to take in same day or would I have to wait ## Hello, Mandy! How are you? As long as your doctor approves, you should be able to switch smoothly to the tablets and just replace your next dose with it. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I got a white pill it's suppose to b a suboxen 10mg it has on one side 155 and the other side it has a D is it a suboxen my brothers comming off methadone he hasn't had ne methadone in 2wks want to b sure this is a sub so he can feel better ## Yeah that's a generic brand suboxone. There is no 10mg suboxone though. It is 8mg suboxone and 2mg naloxone. The imprint on the front side isn't a D, it's a crescent moon, the logo of the manufacturer. I hope this helps!

I was given a fairly large white round pill that seems to be coated. On one side is a large g and the other sife has numbers, it broke so i can only make out a 1 at the bottom. I was told they are generic suboxone. Has anyon ever seen these? ## Yes, that is the new generic suboxone. Should be a quarter moon on one side and 155 on the other. ## @Johnny, I actually think you have a pill by the name of "Metformin" because the imprints match the description you provided. It is a (500 mg) white round pill with a large G on one side and on the other side, the imprint MF over 1. Metformin is an oral anti-diabetic drug in the biguanide class used in the treatment of diabetes, type 2, polycystic ovary syndrome, female infertility, and insulin resistance syndrome. Does anyone know if there is a difference between the 5721 & 155? I have been on 155s & just recently got switched to 5721 due to my pharmacy. I called them today because I have been sick with bad headaches & stomach aches. But only after I take these. ## Hello, Capone! How are you? Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredients, by as much as plus or minus 20% and they do not have to measure against each other, only the name brand. Thus one generic could be lower in the amount of the active ingredients and one could be higher, which could explain you symptoms. However, since the differences are usually very slight, your body tends to adjust in a week, or two. Are you doing any better, yet?

Does anyone know when a generic suboxone will be available ## Suboxone first received FDA approval in 2002 and the exclusivity patent will run out on August 30, 2013, but the doesn't necessarily mean that a generic will become available at that time. Learn more Suboxone details here. Are you having trouble affording this medication? ## The generic suboxone came out in February of this year..2013. I know this because i have them. They are white, have a half-moon on one side, and 155 on the other. They are much harder than the Orange tabs making them easier to break & proportion. Hope this helps.

I have what i was told was suboxone, the white ones with 155 on it which i have never taken before, but i looked it up and they do exist. But i see no marks or numbers at all. And they taste like lemon. Did i get screwed? ## No you didnt get screwed. That is a generic white sub....it taste lemony. ## Really cause i took 4 of the quarters which i don't usually take that much And did nothing to me. Im wondering if they were the 2 mg ones instead of the 8mg like i was told then ## What does the generic 155 suboxone taste like? Anybody tried them before? ## @Sara, Annie (post #1) already mentioned that the taste of these is lemony. However, from what I've been reading in some of the other discussion threads on here, there are people who find that the generic suboxone (w/ 155 on one ...

My message is for the person who was saying something about other companies not making suboxone because the first company has the rights to making it exclusively. While it is true for a period of I believe somewhere between 3 -7 years after it hits the market, suboxone has been around long enough that other companies can now make the same medicine and be in direct competition with the makers of the original suboxone. And there are several different generic suboxone makers now. It's big business and big money to these corporations that those of us dependent on the drug remain hooked just as we were our drug of choice. I have started to taper down off suboxone now, and hope to be off it by oct, 2013. I'm not knocking it for use as a substitute for other hard opioids, it's just...

155 on one side, other side has a half moon - just wanting to make sure I know what this is. Is it suboxone? ## Yes, this pill is a generic for Suboxone from Actavis and contains Buprenorphine 8 mg + Naloxone 2 mg (NDC 0228-3155). Depending on the application form, buprenorphine is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe chronic pain, opioid dependency, and for peri-operative analgesia. Inactive Ingredients: - Anhydrous Citric Acid - Crospovidone - Lactose Monohydrate - Magnesium Stearate - Mannitol - Starch, Corn - Povidone - Sodium Citrate - Sucralose Ref: DailyMed ## Someone please help me asap. Okay so is the white pill with a half moon on one side and 155 on the other side, a Subutex or Suboxone? ## Which pharmacies can I get the white Suboxone with imprint 155/Moon from...

What is the best way to take the 155 crescent moon suboxone? Sublingually? Intransally? As a suppository? And how long if sublingually taken do you feel the effects? ## Orally is the best way, been on them for 9 years!! And it will last 24 to 48 hours ... and will take about 15 mins to feel better!! ## Take them orally as outlined in the leaflet provided with your prescription. It's important to take medications as prescribed.

Does the Company Actavis Elizabeth LLC offer any discounts or copay like the brand name Suboxon strips do?. I ask b/c the new white sublingual (half moon 155) pill, still cost more than the name brand sublingual films do. I cant use my $50 copay i use on the suboxone film. it comes out to be $130 more a month for this generic. Please Help if u know. have no insurance! ## No, such assistance things aren't generally offered for generic medications, except in the case of some that are considered to be life sustaining. Normally, generics are cheaper, just by the nature of being generic. However, if the price is cheaper for you when getting the name brand, you may want to ask your doctor if they can write 'brand medically necessary' on the prescription, so your pharmacy has to gi...

Logo similar to half/crescent moon! Print 155 on other side! This is the brand of suboxone I always filled at the pharmacy in noblesville Indiana! My pharmacy just recently switched brands and the pharmacy doesn't accept my insurance either! Finding a new pharmacy in my area is crucial because not only will I have the medicine that I'm accustomed to brand wise, the new potential pharmacy more than likely will accept my insurance saving me 400 dollars a month! I live in Madison county Indiana but I attend a doctor in Carmel/fishers Indiana! If anyone knows of a pharmacy carrying my brand that's not wal greens then the information would be crucial! It's not like you can call and ask them! They'll tell you if you go in but the issue is I work 40+ hours a week and on top...

What is the correct way to take suboxone pill, white pill, 155 on one side, crescent moon on other? Do you put it under your tongue? Do you wait an hour after smoking, eating or drinking? ## Hello, Based on my research, you should drink a glass of water before taking this medicine to moisten your mouth. Place the sublingual tablet or sublingual film under the tongue and allow it to dissolve. You should not chew the tablet or film, and do not swallow it whole. Be sure to never crush a tablet or dissolve a film to mix into a liquid for injecting the drug into your vein. From what I've read, this practice has resulted in death with the misuse of buprenorphine and similar prescription drugs. Do not take this medication with alcohol. Check your food and medicine labels to be sure these p...

Ok I was on subutex an now supposedly a state law n Tn that they can only prescribe tex to pregnant or nursing women. I now am prescribed suboxone tabs and many pharmacies turned me down even though they were on my list from the dr. So I went to Wal-Mart where I had been going and they had to order the tabs. When I got them they r called buna and r the half moon 155 white round pills, but they r like 8 something a piece! I tried using the GoodRx coupon but the pharmacist said they will only take coupons from the manufacturer and I don't even know who or what to look for. Can someone please help! I love feeling normal but its costing so much money! HELP! ## I have gotten the same spiel from my doctor about Subutex yet no law exists to support this claim. I have been on Subs for over ...

Are the generic round white pill with #155 on and a d on other side better or stronger than the suboxone strips sublingual ## Hello, Tribes! How are you? What dosage of sublingual strips are relevant? It's difficult to provide an answer, without knowing the basis for comparison. Can you pleas post back with more details? Thanks! ## The pill #155 is soooooooo muchhhh weaker than the suboxone strips! An 8mg suboxone strip compares to one #155 pill in the generic form. My insurance switched and now they are giving me the generics and they taste sooo gross take 10 minutes to dissolve and for what?! I can't even tell I took anything. Ive been on and off of suboxone for years and this generic s*** is gunna put me off .i refuse to take it everyday! In short...name brand will always be ...

Please tell me why I can't find a physician that provides Suboxone and accepts insurance? ## Because only a limited number of doctors can prescribe Suboxone, they must take special training classes to be allowed to prescribe it. ## It depends what you mean by 'accepts insurance'. I 'accept insurance' in my practice.. I don't accept the insurance as 'total payment', though, because every insurer pays differently-- usually depending on how expensive the insurance policy is. Suboxone patients are treated exactly the same as any of the patients in my general psychiatry practice. One insurer may pay $30, and for the same service another insurer pays $150! So if my charge for the service is $155, the first patient will have to pay an additional $125, and the se...

i recently got a 8mg 155 imprint with a half moon imprint on the other side, i read up that its an 8 mg with a 2 mg base. im not sure what that meant so my question is, is this 155 8 mg pill as strong as the 8 mg sublingual film? ## Hello, Rob! How are you? Yes, they are the same. The base just basically refers to it as being equivalent, to put it in very simple terms for you. The actual medical ones would be very hard to understand and I really don't feel like trying to spell them all, either. LOL But yes, it is the same dosage and just as effective. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Do they make round orange suboxone? ## Yes they do get them all the time. ## I was on sublingual film suboxone, well i took a half moon suboxone when i wasn't supposed to and im a lil worr...

Its a generic suboxone best taken sublingualy (let dissolve under tounge) in my opinion its not as potent as the generic subutex that im prescribed but on the plus side its not as easy to abuse. If anyone knows if this is more affordable than the Gen subutex (8mg str8 buprenorphine) please reply .. I like it because it stops the cravings better n doesn't make me as sleepy.. ## is it true the round white pill with half moon and 155 is gen. suboxone? ## @Joe420, Prices for each medication are going to be different at each and every pharmacy location worldwide. However generics are already much cheaper than brand name suboxone/subutex. So if you need further assistance, I would recommend printing out one of those "prescription drug discount cards" that you can find via google, ...

Found it in my hubs truck. Decided to be nice and wash it for him. I knew he was a pill addict previously. I knew he took suboxone before. For the last 5 years he has supposedly been off all that crap. So my question is why would you buy this drug? I'm assuming it makes you feel high? Or would he need it if he took too many pills again? Also trying to figure out how to approach him about it? ## This pill is a generic for Suboxone from Actavis and contains Buprenorphine 8 mg + Naloxone 2 mg (NDC 0228-3155). It is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, but one of its active ingredients is the opiate Buprenorphine, so it does carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. A calm approach may be be...

Can this generic form of Suboxone be split into 4 doses and still be somewhat effective in helping me with all my withdrawal symptoms? (Which are pretty awful) ## Hello, Dianna! How are you? It would be best to take it as prescribed by your doctor to avoid the withdrawals. Taking lower doses won't really help much and isn't going to prevent the cravings associated with addiction. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Is it best to take the generic suboxone with 155 and a half moon on it. My daughter was on opiates and she's taking this now, but they say it's addicting also. ## Are the 155 half moon s...
