Hi I am on this tablet for more than a month. Within the first week I came out in hives and dr put me on 30mg for 4 days then back to 60mg. Hives stayed away. For 2 weeks now I have had NO energy and muscle stiffness in my arms and now it is going to my legs. All I want to do is sleep and have not been to work this whole week because I do not have energy to get up in morning. I take my pill in the morning as prescribed by my dr. My back is starting to stiffen up and my neck feels as if it could snap off at any time. I have never felt so overwhelmed in my whole life and as sick as this. Please tell me this is side effects to this tablet and not the end of my life, as it feels like it today. I can not lift a pot of food of the stove without having severe pain in my elbows and musles. I have been on Cymgen 30mg for almost 3 weeks. Day 2 to 7 were terrible with a racy heart and chills and then sweaty. I felt totally wired. That has all settled but I keep on doing weird stuff with my mouth and tongue and my mouth is super sore from contact with my teeth and tongue. I can't seem to stop it and have to consciously swallow my saliva each time. What to do? When will it settle if at all? ## This contains the active ingredient Duloxetine and those are not common side effects of it. Learn more Cymgen details here. Have you told your doctor about these issues? It's likely that this just isn't the right medication for you to take and you may need to try something else. ...

Cymgen Withdrawal

I live in South Africa and started using Cymgen about 3 years ago. I was on 30mg once a day. After deciding that the medication didn't help me, I decided to quit cold turkey. The only withdrawal symptoms I experienced was the dizziness and vertigo. But it was really bad. I started taking it again after a week. I decided to research this and found that antioxidants is supposed to reduce the withdrawal. So I started taking PROCYDIN* (don't know if this is available worldwide) with the Cymgen for about 2 weeks. Then when my Cymgen was finished I continued to take the Procydin only. I must say that I am not experiencing any withdrawal symptoms at this stage. I also don't get depressed (never had suicidal thoughts - even before) Procydin contains: Grape seed extract Proanthocyani... ...

I was taking 30mg of Cymgen per day over a period of approx one year. Three months ago I had a small meltdown and my doctor doubled the dose. After speaking to him a week ago I asked whether I could resume 30mg dose. He agreed. However, since then I am plagued by very vivid nightmares (kidnapping, collapsing houses etc) and weird images. Is this in line with withdrawal? ## Yes. I'm having terrible nightmares too. But i think we have to stick it out. ...

Good day. I was put onto Cymgen (30mg) on the 19th of Sep 13' due to possible anxiety / panic attacks. (I'm a 34 years old, female). A few months ago I started breaking out in uncontrollable horrible smelling underarm sweats (the more I sweated, the more it would smell and the more self conscious I would feel and then I would sweat even more), I started having heart cramps and chest pains, limbs went numb, I had breathlessness (feeling of someone sitting on your chest) and irregular heart beats. The symptoms got worse very quickly. I got worried (possible stroke / heart attack) as I have no info on my parents medical history and I have an 8 year old daughter. I then went to see a GP. He did bloods and ECG's and all came out clean. No signs of pre-mature menopause or thyroid ... ...

I felt positive about my live and much more relaxed, my libido has also appeared again out of nowhere. I had weird dreams in the beginning, but by taking cymgen in the morning instead of evenings the sleep issues was sorted. I am experiencing a dryer mouth but I just drink more water. Cymgen actually gave me the strength to go on a diet again, as I felt good about myself, and thought I have dealt with the challenges life threw at me in the last year. As I was super depressed. anybody in the same boat being on CymGen 30mg and changed to Serlife 50mg I don't think the CymGen was working anymore (almost 3 years) ## Hello, Jennifer! How are you? It is normal to develop a tolerance to a medication that you've been taking for a long period of time and happens to everyone, sooner or later. When this occurs, you usually need a dosage change, or to try a different medication, like you're doing. Learn more Cymgen details here. I have been on Cymgen for 3 months now. First on 60mg in morning and now reduced to 30mg at night. I have started weeing 3-4 times per night although I haven't had anything to drink for hours. I also have a lot of acid. AND Insomnia !! Will it help if I take it in the mornings maybe ? ## Then you will have daytime sleepiness. Get off this drug if you can. It is not the right one for you and the side effects are not good for you. If you are female, no one will have sympathy with you for not sleeping because it will be assumed to be due to menopause. They will blame you if you are fat or if you had bad "bedtime Hygeine".Not one thing I tried worked except cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) 10MG or 1 MG klonopin to sleep. I need to know the Long Term Effects of taking Cymgen for longer than 6months and will my depression be cured after taking the drug for a while? ## This medication contains the active ingredient Duloxetine, it is an SSNRI antidepressant. The common side effects you can expect may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and weight gain. However, these should actually taper off, after a few weeks, as your body adjusts to the medication. As to your depression being cure, that really depends on what is causing it. If it is just due to some temporary things that are happening in your life and they clear up, then the medication may be just enough help to get you through this rough patch. However, if your depression is caused by other issues, such as mental illness, then it will more than likel... ...

I would like to know my daughter as been using Lexamil for 3 years. The doctor subscriped Cymgen to be taken in the evening. She is still using Lexamil in the morning. Is this adviseable. She is only 17 years old. Thanks ## Have you spoken to her doctor about your concerns? There can be some risks associated with taking the Escitalopram in the Lexamil with the Duloxetine in the Cymgen, such as hyponatremia and serotonin syndrome. This doesn't mean they can't both be used, but her doctor should carefully take the dosages under consideration and should be monitoring her on a regular basis. ## From what I could gather, these two drugs should not be taken together, as there is an interaction between the active ingredients "escitalopram" and "duloxetine" in each drug.... ...

The risks may possibly include stomach ulceration, liver damage, liver failure or kidney damage/failure, as reported by the FDA. cymgen withdrawals- How long and what to do??

I have been on Cymbalta, then changed to the generic Cymgen (30mg) for 8 years. I decided after this amount of time to stop and asked my psychiatrist on ways to do this. FISRT of all, my psychiatrist said that because i was on such a low dose that there will be NO side effects of stopping the drug. My response was to inform her that on days i have missed taking my meds i have severe head zaps and couldn't manage just stopping (Cold Turkey) if that was the case. She then put me on a course to taper off: X2 weeks 30mg Cymgen & 20mg LilyFluoxetime (prozac)- After two weeks i stopped the Cymgen and carried on taking the lily for another two weeks as requested by my doctor. I had my last Lily on the 18th of July 2016. It is now the 10th of August 2016. The withdrawals are so severe t... ...
