Doc has me on Cyclobenzaprine HCl (10 mg). 1 every 8 hrs as needed for back pain. These are very effective for the pain but make me VERY sleepy. I have read positive reviews on Soma. I took two 750mg Methocarbomal pills and ONE 10mg Cyclobenzaprine HCl pill. I am a 180lbs female at 5'7". I'm worried that it may be too much, but the methocarbomal by itself wasn't easing my pain. I have taken this pill cyclobenzaprine for back muscle spasams. it says I pill by mouth three times daily as needed. I'm not sure if you were already aware of this, but the interaction states that using these two central nervous system (CNS) depressants together may increase your risk of a Buprenorphine overdose, life-threatening respiratory depression, coma, and even death. Are you currently taking anything else with it? If you're into natural alternatives I'd recommend trying out lavender essential oil and mixing it with a lotion to rub onto your spine/back prior to sleeping. It may help promote healing in any areas that have inflammation related to disc problems. Lavender is also very calming and acts as a muscle relaxant too. I have been on Cymgen for 3 months now. First on 60mg in morning and now reduced to 30mg at night. I have started weeing 3-4 times per night although I haven't had anything to drink for hours.
