Can taking pulmison and celestemine during early pregnancy affect the baby? ## Hello, LisaE! How are you? Congratulations on the baby! :-) No, these should not be taken during pregnancy, due to the corticosteroids that are in them, Prednisone and Betamethasone, both have been classified by the FDA as being in pregnancy category C, because they've been unable to rule out there being any risk. The FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, acne, irritability and insomnia. If you need to take something for allergy symptoms, it would be best to speak to your doctor to find out what is safe for you. Is there anything else I can help with?

I took this drug in the 1970's while pregnant. Am looking for the side effects to the babies. Drug has been off the market for many years. Not sure on correct spelling. Used for nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. Thank you for any help you can send me.
