I have ADHD, and have been treated with stimulants for 30 years. However over the last few years, I have become very sensitive to the side effects of these meds; nervousness, jittery, tightness in my shoulders, irritability, etc. The dexedrine is the worst, and adderall isn't much better. Been taking these generic cor 132 for adhd and they make me feel like crap. Ive got no choice but to try taking them in another form. I dont get new scripts for three weeks. I have ms and not sure why the meds are prescribed for me. ## The mixed Amphetamine salts, which would commonly be referred to as Adderall, is a stimulant, it is normally used to treat conditions such as ADHD and narcolepsy. One of its side effects is that, as a stimulant, it can raised your blood pressure. The Provigil is another medication that is commonly used to treat Narcolepsy and fatigue syndromes. Thus, I can only conclude that your doctor probably wants to bring your BP up to normal levels and to help you with the fatigue you are experiencing from the MS.
