Buscopan Tablets contain the active ingredient Hyoscine, and are used as an abdominal antispasmodic. Buscopan is indicated for the relief of spasm of the genito-urinary tract or gastro- intestinal tract and for the symptomatic relief of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I have also read that this medication can be used to treat mild to moderate symptoms of Diverticulitis. From what I can gather, the usual dose of Buscopan (hyoscine) tablets is 1 or 2 10 mg tablets per day. If you need to take this medication regularly, the usual dose is 1 tablet 3 to 5 times a day... ...
