I have severe anxiety, I have no clue the pressure in my left ear is an ear infection or what.... I went to urgent Care and the dr said it looked like a little redness and gave me 500mg of amoxicillin twice daily. For ten days. I took one dose and had a rash all the way up my arm, but Benadryl spray on it and it's almost gone. How long will it take for it to get out of my system? ## Britt Why don't you contact the urgent care facility that prescribed the amoxicillin they could probably answer your questions better then we can without benefit of your history and underlying issues..these forums should never be substituted for skilled medical providers. ## @BrittR, According the drug half-life calculator here on MedsChat, Amoxicillin has an estimated half-life of 1.5 hours. Omg...I had no clue darvocet was removed off the market....I had an old script from 4 yrs ago....I had teeth extracted 3 days ago and I am in extreme pain...I took one of the darvocet.... Now im terrified it's going to kill me. ## no u won't die...the fda removed the drug due to higher rates of heart problems...it is as safe now as it was 4 yrs ago. ## Mickey is correct, it wasn't killing people when they took one pill. What it was doing was causing cardiac damage and issues, however, they were also reversible in most cases, once the drug was discontinued. You should dispose of them though, to make sure you don't take any in the future. And for most dental extractions, a simple NSAID, such as Ibuprofen is enough to relieve the pain and swelling, unless your doctor or den...

A pinkish capsule with a symbol resembling a Z, and 2186 printed on it. No clue what it is, does someone know? ## I'm fairly certain this is Propoxyphene 65mg. light blue capsule with the imprint TP on the top and 60 in the bottom. any clues? ## Kai, I think the imprint code is kind of hard to read, but it should say TAP 60 (where the TAP is kind of like a logo with the letter A coming off the T so I can see why you might have mistaken it as just TP - just so you know, the logo belongs to Takeda Pharmaceuticals). How can you tell if acetaminophen is a rx or just otc? Is the dosage a clue? ## Based on my own research I found that Acetaminophen (also known as Paracetamol) is an ingredient contained in many OTC and prescription medicines. For the most part, Acetaminophen would be found in typical OTC drugs such as, Benadryl, Tylenol, Theraflu, and many more medications along similar lines intended for normal colds, flu, and other minor to moderate pain. As for Acetaminophen in Rx, I found it to be similar dosages, but I believe the main difference is what drug they combined with Acetaminophen to give it a stronger effect. For example, I saw Acetaminophen used in conjunction with Oxycodone, Codeine, Hydrocodone, and other serious drugs intended to be for a more serious matter. But those are Rx of co...
