Ihad my angioplasty done on 1st Aug 2011. I have been taking plavix 75mg for the past 2 weeks. This medicine is very costly 14 tablets costa around Rs1500/-around 30 dollars.I am from India. Can I replace this with Clopilet A 150 which also contains the same active ingrdinet clopidogrel anti coagulating agent pl advice I cant afford this medicine. ## Actually, Clopilet-A contains Clopidogrel and Aspirin, so I wouldn't advise switching to it, without your doctors approval. The regular Clopilet would be the equivalent medication that just contains Clopidogrel and, in that case, there should be no harm in switching, as long as you are taking the correct dosage. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Thank you sir for your reply Regards P.R.Narayanaswami ## I was takken off lipit... ...

Is it necessary to continue Sompraz 40 in the long term ## Actually, Sompraz is only meant to be taken for short periods of time, usually only up to 4 months, because long-term use of it can increased your risk of hip fractures, as reported by the FDA.
