What does clonazepam have in it to make it fall under the controlled substance ? I have been taking this medication for some time. I was told it has a controlled substance in it. What is it? ## Hello, Mimi! How are you? Clonazepam itself is the controlled substance, it is a benzodiazepine that carries the risk of being habit forming, so the FDA and DEA make sure it is regulated. It may also cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I've been taking it for sometime myself.I use to wonder why myself. I'm extremely sensitive to different brands.I have been suffering for the last four months because the brand I always used drastically changed something in the ingredients. Just wondering if you have problems w... ...

Hi, I just recently had to change to the teva brand of clonazepam. Just wanted to know has anyone experience jaw pain. I looked up the ingredients on some other brands and notice that teva has povidone as an inactive ingredient. Could it be the povedone ? ## Hello, Sarah! How are you? Various body aches and pains can be typical side effects of the Clonazepam itself, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient between one generic and another, this is permitted under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, so this one might be a little bit stronger than the one you were taking, which could cause you to experience more side effects. Has there been any change, yet? ...

I have taken Clonazepam for a number of years. It has always been the Actav product. On my last prescription refill, the pharmacist arbitrarily switched me to the Tevau product. Is this a problem? Which, if either is the better product? Is there a product better than either one of these 2 mentioned above? ## This can happen from time to time as manufacturers change their production schedules around, etc. It is hard to say which is the better product because technically the same generic product from multiple manufacturers contains the same active ingredient(s). That said, some people do experience slightly different effects from a product coming from a new manufacturer. What has been your experience so far? Does anybody else have an opinion of the Clonazepam from Teva? Please keep me pos... ...

They only feel half as strong as they should be. I still shake after taking the 1mg pill twice a day. Is sandoz a better generic? I can get those? I am now taking blue c1 clonazepam that aren't scored and don't work. ## Hi . I been on klonopin one milligram for 7 months now. I normally get green pills that say teva on them. I went to Wal-Mart yesterday to get my refill and I got the blue klonopin your discribing. Says c1 on em. And they are not right at all. Very weak. And short lasting. My green teeva klonopin lasted 2 to 4 hours varying on how much anxiety I have. These new c1 blue klonopins last about 30 minutes. And it seems like the first ten minutes after taking the pull is just a rush of relaxation. Then the pill fades away drastically. Like I said they last 30 minutes. I... ...

These are horrible, Accord clonazepam. Ill be glad when I get my new script and can go back to TEVA. ## There have been a lot of recent complaints on our site about medications manufactured by Accord. Sorry you also had a bad experience. Since pharmacies buy in bulk, it is highly likely that they'll still have the ones manufactured by Accord in stock, when you order a refill. So, you might want to make sure to tell them ahead of time that you don't want them and prefer the ones made by Teva. Are there any comments or questions? ## So I got my script filled before I left town and I always check my bottle for my good ole MFG and NDC#. Both were intact but the surprise was on the inside. Little Blue pills with the C and the 1..... Not my normal 1mg TEVA. Being trusting I figured ma... ...

Teva No Longer Manufacturers Clonazepam
2 Replies RSS
Teva No Longer Manufacturers Clonazepam, and I personally feel it is a good thing. Teva, in my opinion, is a low-quality company who actually manufacturers 70% of their products overseas, in cities and communities I don't think you would want to live in. I find the change-over, in terms of most of my medications, including clonazapam 2mh hs to be more effective than before. There are, of course, individual differences, but this is how it is for me personally. Would anyone else care to comment? ## From what I can see on their site, they still list it as being currently manufacturer. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. Where did you hear that they discontinued it? What company ... ...

I have been taking 2 mg daily of Teva clonazepam for a few years. I have been noticing that my memory (both short and long term) is increasingly more affected by the drug. Over the past year I have found myself being on "auto pilot" alot. My pharmacy just switched my prescription to the blue accord clonazepam arbitrarily. Is there any evidence supporting the accord brand being easier on "cognitive fog"? Also, due to this fog", I would like to taper off of benzos for good. Could you recommend a safe taper schedule for clonazepam? Thank you in advance. ## Hello, John! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems you're having. Long-term use of this medication can cause such memory issues, as reported by the FDA. It also carries the risk of being habit forming and ... ...

can i mix 031 alprazolam with teva 833 clonazepam? If so what will happen and what more can I do? ## You should not be mixing Benzodiazepines at all? Similar to having a glass of Pepsi & Coke with dinner, both are highly addictive! ## From what I've read, according to a number of different drug interaction checkers, there aren't any contraindications when it comes to combining these two different Benzo medications. Reason being I'm guessing, is probably because they are of the same drug class and therefore have a similar pharmacology. The primary difference would likely be found in the overall efficacy of each drug. I wouldn't be one to try it, especially without your doctor's consent; but at the same time I haven't come across any specific details or evidenc... ...

Hello all, I usually am given the GREEN #98 833 1mg clonazepam, but when I filled px today, she gave me the BLUE v2531 1mg clonazepam. Could someone please let me know which are known to be better? Thanks ## There is really no way to say which one is going to be better for you. It can vary from person to person, which one works well for you, may not be the same for someone else and vice-versa. They both contain the same medication, in the same dosage, but there can be slight fluctuations in the amount, as well as differences in the inactive ingredients. The only suggestion I can make is trying them and seeing how well they work for you. have a white round tab 2mg clonazepam has a c over 2 on one side and has nothing on other side is supposedly made by teva usa not scored at all. can anyone help!!!! ## It is generic Klonopin (cloazepam) made by Accord Inc. (ACCO) Since it is white, it is 2mg dosage. It is not a very much used brand (and strangely it is not scored to make it easier to break into half doses - but it is softer than most bands), but I currently am taking it now for the first time. Seems to work ok - maybe not as good as TEVA. I usually get TEVA brand as the generic from the pharmacy - but I guess you take what you can get. ## Yes, the tablet marked with the C 2 is not made by Teva, their logos use the number 93, followed by 3 additional numbers and some have been converted to actually say TEVA, dropping the... ...

I was just given a different brand of clonazepam (Klonopin) and it is like taking a placebo compared with other brands, such as Teva. Anyone else notice this? I take the 2mg tab ## Hi Brian, Sorry to hear about the medication feeling like a placebo. I for one think it has a lot to do with the different set of inactive ingredients found in each manufacturer's brand/generic. Reason I say this is because nothing else is usually changed on the Rx label when you switch between different versions. Apparently each 2mg tablet by Mylan Pharmaceuticals uses the following binders/fillers: anhydrous lactose + colloidal silicon dioxide + magnesium stearate + microcrystalline cellulose + pregelatinized corn starch + sodium lauryl sulfate Teva's 2mg Clonazepam reportedly contains: corn starch ... ...

Clonazepam 1c blue pill IS CLONAZEPAM
Post a Reply
I've been on clonazepam (teva) for 4 years now. I recently been taking the one that has a c and a 1 (c1 round blue no score) clonazepam. I have been through withdrawal before. And i know what is like. HORRIBLE. Now i do know the pill infact is clonazepam, BUT is very different. It melts fast in your tongue. And maybe there some "getting use to" do to the inactive ingredients. Which vary in all drug manufacture. . .the inactive ingredient in this 1c clonazepam has more of an effect when melted underneath your tounge. You absorb most of it. It also melts faster than other clonazepam. Is almost like a klonipin wafer....if this is helpful let me know. ...

yellow round scored on one sided and 832 on the other side ## I just found some information on this, there have been several recent posts about these TEVA imprints. So, yes, the TEVA 832, which formerly had the imprint 93 832 contains 0.5mgs of Clonazepam, the active ingredient in Klonopin. It is a benzodiazepine used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, weight gain and irritability. Read more: Do you have any questions or comments? ...

How are you? Very wise advice to give him. Yes, it may be harmful. Each tablet contains 1mg of Clonazepam, so taking 8 especially with the Suboxone, risks overdose. This could be fatal due to the fact that both of them cause depression of the central nervous system. Both of these medications also carry the risk of being habit forming.
