Clonazepem along with Trazadon have been used to help my insomnia. I had to go to a different pychiatrist due to my new county .. I have been on these for 12 Years and I can't understand the meaning of these new doctors. I take 2mg a night. ## Hi Pat, What exactly do you mean when you say you don't understand the meaning of the new doctors. what is the dosage ## What dosage is the blue clonazapam pill? ## There is really no way to say for sure unless you provide more information on the pill, there are actually several different blue Clonazepam pills of differing dosages made by different manufacturers. This is a generic drug and once a drug is released from its proprietary patent, it is open for manufacturing by any pharmaceutuical company that wishes to make and market it. Per FDA regulations, all prescription drugs in the US must have unique imprints on the pills for identification purposes. There are, however, no regulations for colors. Is quanapin a trade name for clonazapam (like Klonapin)? I had not heard of this until a client told me that both quanapin and clonazapam were prescribed. The dosage for quanapin was much higher than would be prescribed for clonazapam. ## Hello, DocDonna! How are you? Took for 3 mos & 1 wk and tapered the next wk but took only as needed @ .05mg. most days took 1 dose & some days took 2 doses. I skipped many days during this time as well. When I found out about the drug, I did a fast taper in one wk. Only wd I have is tinnitus, nervous about leaving my home and anxiety that affects the way I breathe sometimes until I calm myself down. It's been 47 days off today. I never had wd's on the days when I didn't take the drug and I think being so nervous is bringing on symptoms except the tinnitus. Some can come off cold turkey or a fast taper but you don't know can do this. I didn't know any better but thank the LORD I didn't have those bad ones I have read so much about.. Anyone else done this?

Any mood altering meds should be tapered off slowly. Talk to your doctor to see how you should slowly adjust your dosage. Check your meds to see if they are benzodiazapines, like Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin, Clonazapam etc (they have different names for the brand vs the generic, so check your meds to see what types they are.) They drugs can be addictive and do cause serious withdrawal symptoms. I had seizures when I quit Xanax cold turkey. I am now on Ativan, but a low dose that I only take when I REALLY need it to help with panic attacks and panic related sleeplessness. The more you take these meds, the less they work and the more problems they cause when you stop taking them. After taking Nexito for 15 days i do feel ok, but i didnt take it again for the past 15 days and i dont want to make it a habit so i like to take when im really tense; like for 2 days & then stop. I will be seeing my psychiatrist in a couple of weeks, and I just wanted to see what other people thought about my issue. I was prescribed one mg xanax three times daily for the about six or seven years, but I kept needing more and always running out. However, when I was taking xanax I wasn't anxious or depressed it worked miracles, so I really want to get back on it, but apparently since I have been out of the xanax circle for a few years, it has become impossible to get this prescribed. Dr states they are equal. 1 mg clonazapam is to 1 mg of Xanax . Totally different He stopped 2 mgs a day without any concern of withdrawal because he gave me 3 mg a day of clonazapam. Is Clonazapam v2532 meant to be taken sublingualy or just swallowed whole? I know some brands are either or.. ## This tablet is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 2mgs of Clonazepam in a regular tablet formulation, so they are meant to be swallowed intact. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with?

why is my clonazapam not effective unless it has not been in my system for some time. I dont take to much just the 2mg and yet I do not receive the sedative effect I am looking for ## I was on 1MG 3X a day for almost 4 years and found it was doing NOTHING for me. The only option I had was to take MORE to get the help I felt I was receiving in the first place. I moved UP to 2 MG at night to help me sleep and felt that I was STILL not receiving the benefit from the medication... At this point I started coming OFF the drug, as I knew I would just keep building a tolerence to it. It took me being off of it for almost 2 month before I tried taking anything else and now I take Xanax. I find it helps me more than the Clonzapam did...just a me thing. I had been taking clonazapam-up to 3mgs. per day as needed for a long time when my psyche nurse put me on Serevent. After several days I started to get chest pain in my sternum, above the solar plexus.. My psyche nurse, who had been practising over 20 yrs. said she never heard of this before, said: Maybe something is seriously wrong with you I was sure it was related to the Serevent because when I cut down, the pain would subside; and when I took more, the pain increased. I later realized the cause: When taking the Serevent, I felt less need for the Klonopin and so would take less. I was actually feeling the physical effects of anxiety/depression: which affects me as heaviness and aching in that area while not feeling it mentally; apparently blocked by the Serevent. I've been taking clonazapam for 17 yrs now for my epilepsy! This last visit with my Neurologist went sour, due to the abuse of clonazapam he discontinued my medicine treating me as if I was nothing. Well I started seizing and went to get help in the er, the doctor said they don't prescribe this type of drug in the er. I'm in tears. I've threatened suicide and still received no help and that's when I thought my world was falling apart. I have never in my life abused this medication nor have they had any positive results of abusing this medication, I hate and I know its wrong to insinuate that someone is misusing a medication. I'm taking this complaint to the top until I'm satisfied. This has kept my seizures under control all these years?? I refuse to go down ...

Small pink pill with R33 is a 5mg Clonazapan, Generic for Klonopin. ## It is a Clonazepam tablet, but it is only 0.5mgs. Learn more Clonazepam details here. What is the difference between clonazapam and Xanax 1 mg for either ## They are both benzodiazepines that can be used to treat the same conditions, but one sometimes works better than another for any given person. Clonazepam has a half-life ranging from about 30 to 50 hours, which means it would be 150 to 300 hours, before it's out of your body. Thus, you may still experience a greater intensity of the side effects if you drink alcohol, you may feel more nausea, dizziness and drowsy than normal. One drink might affect you as if you'd had 2 and so on. Thus, it would really be best to avoid alcohol for awhile after taking it. This medication also carries the risk of being habit forming. Is it safe to take 6mg of clonazapam with 300 mg of Tylenol 3 or do these drugs cause an interaction? ## That is WAY too much climax roam to take at one time. The dosages manufactured currently are 0.5mg, 1mg & 2mg.
