Thanxs ## Whatever you do stay away from Dr Z in solon ohio he is a scam artist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ## Hi snugglebunny, While I don't personally know any pain doctors in the state of Ohio, I have listed below a couple websites specific to locating pain management doctors in a given area. All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} You can give this other site a try too if you come up with different results for some reason or another: wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist Most of the results you find will also list a phone number for that specific doctor; I'd ...

need to obtain a Precision QID Glucometer for Diabetes Care. Where can I go to find one? ## Hello, Mile! How are you? I'm sorry, but I've not been able to find a listing of which pharmacies carry this. However, you should be able to just call them and ask. It's not like this is a controlled substance, so there shouldn't be a problem giving you an answer over the phone. Has anyone seen these anywhere?

I am hurting very bad with this weather in cleveland ohio. please HELP. Thank U ## Hello, Chocogal2! How are you? The easiest thing to do would likely be to ask your regular doctor to refer you to a colleague. Most doctors are more inclined to be cooperative and prescribe when they know someone is coming from a fellow respected physician Does anyone know of any good doctors in that area? ## Looking for a dr to prescribe Percocet or Vicodin.Had a back surgery in 2005 for a b...

Please forgive the length of this post. I recently had an appointment at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Center in Lynnwood. I have been a pain management patient for over 4 years now. Multiple spinal issues, fibromyalgia, EBV, and TBI to name a few problems I have. I moved to the Cleveland from another state I am very concerned with what the protocol at this location. If you are looking to continue your pain management meds, you can bypass this institution. The spin you'll get is "the cutting edge rehab alternative therapy" lecture. The deer in the headlights was my response. To say I was upset is an understatement. The fact I had to resign from my federal job because I simply could not keep performing with unrealistic expectations. After hearing the rehab speech the only t...

I was prescribed kadian 10mg but need to know what pharmacy in Cleveland TN carries it. I have called about all pharmacies and no one seems to carry it. ## I'm assuming you've filled your prescription by now. I just came across your post and for future reference keep in mind that if your regular pharmacy doesn't have it and you've physically checked one more pharmacy and they don't have any either you can ask the nurse or someone at the doctors office to help you find the medication. Be very nice and they'll be more likely to help you asap. First, you're in pain and driving, walking, riding can exacerbate any kind of pain. Not to mention the stress of going from store to store only to be told "no". You calling pharmacies usually doesn't work. They...

Doctors who are willing to prescribe pain medication in Cleveland Ohio ## Hello, Anna! How are you? Unfortunately, with the stricter regulations that were put in place last year, most doctors are going to be very reluctant to prescribe controlled substances on a long-term ongoing basis for an uninsured patient. The reason being that it makes it much easier for someone to doctor and pharmacy hop. If you did get a doctor to prescribe, most pharmacies won't fill them for cash paying patients, anymore, due to the pharmacy hopping reason. It's far harder to control and keep track of the prescriptions of someone that's paying cash, as opposed to someone with insurance. Do you have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, they might be able to refer you to someone that can help. Can an...

I have sciatica , healing broken jaw, neck and back injuries. I cannot walk very far due to my painful bunions problems. Recently was In a head on collision. And it was bady neck pain and leg pain is still unbearable. I can't even pick my daughter up @ school. ## Hello, Megan! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. However, there really aren't any 'liberal' pain management doctors, anymore. Due to the new regulations that were put in place, they have to be very careful about what they prescribe, why they prescribe it and how much they prescribe, or they run the risk of losing their license to practice medicine, as well as fine and jail time. Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to someone? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to...

I need to find my brother help! We live in Cleveland, Ohio and there is no one around here that can help him get this prescription (Suboxone). If you know of any information please contact me. Thank you ## I also posted this in response to the other post, vbut will place it here as well just in case you don't see that one. The only way to get this drug for addiction treatment is through a certified treatment center where they docs are specially trained in its use, your family doctor and other treatment centers cannot prescribe it. Sorry. You can get more information and check for any local treatment centers at Suboxone.com ## Getting Suboxone legally can only be gotten from psychiuatrists.doctors that are licensed to prescribe it. I'm prescribed Adderall in Florida but running out of my script and in Cleveland/Westlake Ohio area for work for the next few weeks. Is there a doctor I can take my empty bottle to that would prescribe a refill while I'm up here working? ## Hello, Dave! How are you? Most likely not. Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you need to see a specialist now to get a medication like this and that's going to require an established doctor/patient relationship. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, insomnia and anorexia. My Adipex-prescribing doctor indicated that he is no longer permitted to hand out the pills after a physical exam due to Ohio law on habit forming drugs. He could only write prescriptions for Adipex which was fine, however 4 pharmacies refused to fill the prescription because it’s addictive - this was my first prescription! I could see if I had a history of abusing it but I don’t. Anyone else having the same problem? Is there any way around this? ## That sounds silly! Have you ever had an issue filling any other medications in the past? Would there be any reason to maybe have been flagged (not necessarily on purpose, but maybe a name mix up)? need specifics on docs who prescribe oxycontin in Cleveland, oh area ## There are no listings of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that can be searched for you. Technically, any doctor can prescribe it, but due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require it on a long-term ongoing basis for the management of chronic pain, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, then the easiest thing to do would be to ask them to refer you to someone.
