I statrted cytalopram a year a ago. and it takes time but it doaes work. I take 40 mg a day, and life has gotten better. OK i do admit, you will be a little forgetful and slow, but that is what it does,if you are high anxiety, like me, it will slow you down. But remember, IT DOES TAKE TIME. you'll see. ## Medications in this class generally take a month or more to reach their full effectiveness, for most people. AS to being forgetful and slow, this DOES NOT happen to everyone, medications can affect everyone in different ways. So, while some may experience this as a side effect, not everyone does. Thank you, however, for providing your experience and inform... ...
