round pale blue pill ## This is a greenish pill but with the markings you described. METHYLPHENIDATE (Metadate(R) ER, Ritalin(R)-SR or the once-daily brands Concerta(R), Metadate(R) CD, Ritalin(R) LA) is a stimulant. It can improve attention span, concentration, and emotional control, and reduce restless or overactive behavior. This medicine treats attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It can also help a condition called narcolepsy, an illness that makes it difficult to stay awake during normal daytime hours. Federal law prohibits the transfer of methylphenidate to any person other than the person for whom it was prescribed. Do not share this medicine with anyone else. score on oppisite side of ciba ## Hello, Frank! How are you? Where did you find it? I couldn't find a listing for this in any of the prescription drug databases that I checked, which leads me to suspect that it's an over the counter product and some of them are regional, so knowing the general location may help to narrow it down. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ...

ciba ## Sorry, you have not provided enough information. This drug is available in both name brand and generic versions. There are many generic manufacturers and each one of them will make a pill that looks different. There are no rules saying that pills with the same ingredient have to look the same! The size, color, shape and imprint will all vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The only relevant regulations from the FDA state that they must have unique imprints for identification purposes, but these will even differ by manufacturer and strength of the med. In order to identify your pill for you and tell you what it is, you need to provide the complete imprint from the pill, all letters, numbers and/or symbols that may be on it, as well as the color and shape. Then I can look it up... ...

Doriden/glutethimide availability
8 Replies RSS
Does anyone know where one could obtain glutethimide or it's brand name Doriden (CIBA Company)? Am in Canada where Doriden was discontinued in late 1980s and I was told Doriden discontinue was international. Perhaps there is now a generic form containing glutethimide available now as I would assume CIBA trademark rights would have by now expired. As the benzodiazapine replacement meds for Doriden are more addictive and dangerous (especially if mixing with alcohol & other drugs) it sure would be great to be able to go back to Doriden or glutethimide which were more effective and safer. A shame that the public was switched over to benzodiazipines (i.e. lorazapam, diazapam) when a better/safer product was available all in the name of profits and economics. Any help out there is mos... ...
