I take Xanax for 15 years as needed. I am a senior. Not only do 97% of our antibiotics come from China, but other meds mixed into benzodiazepines and other medications are from there as well. Since China has shut down most of their factories, will the USA become short of our meds? I cannot stop taking my Xanax because I’ll have a seizure. We are in China and home on the 27th of February. Will the drug apo-tramadol/acet 37.5/325mg help me with a bladder infection until I get home or do I need to go to a hospital or clinic for another drug? I have been taking apo-sulfatrim 400/80mg which has helped but it is not completely gone and still feels uncomfortable when I pee. I only have 8 pills left of the apo/sulfatrim so not enough until I get home.

I am living in China so I always like to check things out ASAP when ever I have to see a doctor here. Anyhow my daughter, who is almost 18 months had a fall today and broke her collar bone. X-ray showed a nice clean break no problem so he recommended a brace which I expected but for some reason he also prescribed Cefureoxime Axetil 125mg. ## Carditas Retard appears to be a brand of medication out of China / Hong Kong, Trinidad & Tobago, India. It could exist in other countries as well, although the specific name is not frequently found in the United States. The Active Chemical name in Carditas Retard is Nifedipine. We have two drugs names listed with Nifedipine as the active ingredient: , usually administered in 30mg or 60mg. , usually administered in 32mg, 60mg. Carditas Retard seems to exist in 20mg tablets.

I just got a refill for 160 my Valsartan and it is made in CHINA! This was from OptimumRX. The generic I previously got from CVS was made in the USA. The other label on the container was Solco. The "Made in China" was obscured by the instructions but after carefully peeling them off, it was visible. Are there any warnings or adverse effects from this China-manufactured generic drug? I'm fearful of taking it; and was unable to convince my pharmacy to pursue or supply a U.S. manufactured drug. ## Regardless of where it is manufactured, any given medication must meet the same safety and efficacy standards, in order for the FDA to approve of it being supplied and made available in the U.S. The typical side effects of this medication are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension, the same as the others available.
