What would happen if candid b cream is accidentally ingested? ## Candid B is a local "skin application" that consists of Clotrimazole and betamethasone; it is effective for localized fungal infections such as Ring worm. I don't think ingesting the cream is a very good idea to say the least and may even cause more harm than good since it is not an oral medication. Keep in mind that Candid B is not effective in widespread fungal infections. For wide spread fungal infections one would need to take "oral" anti-fungal treatments. In addition, it is not very effective in fungal infection of the nails. As far as side effects go, Clotrimazole and Betamethasone can cause skin irritation. I'm a 24 yo male. I am 5'9'' and weigh 340lbs. I also have high BP and take cozaar for it. I use to play football in high school. When I started my freshman year I weighed 220lbs so basically I have never really been small. and my senior year I played at 260-270lbs (some of the added weight was muscle), but by no means was it all. It has the following ingredients: Clotrimazole IP, Beclomethazone Dipropionate IP (Benzyl Alcohol IP, Methylparaben IP , Propylparaben IP) Cream Base. Being a topical creme, it should have safety instructions on how and where to apply it.
