Hi I'm taking oralcon for the first time in my life, I've never used contraceptives before so the Dr gave these to me to regulate my cycle. My husband an I have been trying to have a baby but we failed because of my irregular cycle. So if I take them for a month and stop, could it be possible to conceive the following month? ## It is possible, but it would be a very rare occurrence, according to FDA reports. This contraceptive prevents ovulation, and it can often take a few months for your body to regulate things, so you will ovulate again, in order to become pregnant. How irregular is your cycle and how long have you been trying to become pregnant? Are you on any other medications? ## I have been on oralcon f for a month now and i want to know for how long will it take me to be...

I stopped taking oralcon feb 15th after I had my withdrawal bleeding and haven't had my period since. Can I be pregnant after a negative home test? I used to get my periods twice a month even though I took my tablets everyday. I was on oralcon for a year. ## Hello, Charlie! How are you? Yes, there is a chance, if you've were actively engaging in intercourse, after stopping them. Not all home tests are accurate, especially very early. But it may also just be due to stopping the contraceptives. It can take a few months for your body to balance the hormones back out on its own. How long were you on the Oralcon? ## Hi. I have been on oralcon for 3 to 6 months. I last got my periods on the 19th of June 2018. Then I stopped taking the pill on July 5th. If I skipped 2 days I got my per...

Take for me to fall pregnant after using oralcon for nearly more then 3 years. ## hey I stopped using oralcon last year round about September month. and I was on oralcon for 3years. last year December I found out I was 3 and half months pregnant. so when you stop taking the pill for at least almost 2 months you can get pregnant. and my husband are trying for another baby now coz baby never made it ## Hello Esa, According to the NIH as soon as you stop taking the medication regularly you can technically get pregnant however some medical professionals warn that it may be better to wait a few months. The primary reasons for this is so you can observe your menstrual cycle and ensure there are no medical complications coming off of the birth control and a fo...

Hi I've been taking the pill for 4 months and about a week now . I stopped the pill 5 days ago and are bleeding so I was just wondering wen I can get pregnant ## Hello, Blommie! How are you? Unfortunately, I really don't have an answer for you. It can vary from woman to woman, some women manage to get pregnant immediately and some don't, because it may take a few months for their bodies to rebalance their hormones on their own and for ovulation to occur. Have you consulted your doctor?

Hi. I was on oralcon for 6 yrs and stopped it after my last period because I want to have another baby. How long will it take for me to fall pregnant? Thx. ## Hi Cathy! Every woman is different. First of all, u need 2 start ovulating, again. Sometimes, that will happen with your next period, other times it could take a couple 2 a few months. The main thing is that u r getting your period and ovulating. If u need more advise, I will try 2 help. Don't get discouraged IF it takes a little while, because, u were on birth control awhile. Good luck! ## Been using oralcon for 3 weeks because I'm trying to fall pregnant. I've skipped a few pills and had intercourse... What are my chances of falling pregnant? I'm planning to stop taking these pills at da end of the pack. ## I had...

Hi,ive been using oralcon for6 months And I want to know that how long does it stays in a body and can I get pregnant while using them and what are the side effect when using them.and I want to try for a baby.tnx ## No, you cannot get pregnant while taking them daily, they are an oral contraceptive that prevents pregnancy. If you stop taking them, it may still take a couple of months for natural ovulation to occur again, so you can get pregnant. Since it contains synthetic hormones, side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, loss of libido and weight gain. Are there any other questions I can help with? ## My periods haven't been here for 2months now,I was last on oralcon some 5months ago.I'm wondering why my periods have stopped indefinitely when they were regular and...

Hi. I've had the Nexplanon implant since March 2017, and because my periods come more often (like twice or 3 times a month) or get longer (10 days or more), my doctor told me to take Oralcon to stop the bleeding- a pill a day for 5 days. I'm just wondering if using Nexplanon and Oralcon together would cancel each other out and make me pregnant, or mess me up in some way. Thanks.

Hi im on Oralcon for about 8 months now, im very bad with taking pills and remember to take them. so I skipped quite a few times. my last mp started on 19 July until 24 July and then I had a spotting on the 15th of July, since then nothing...today is the 15th Aug and still nothing... What are the chances for me being pregnant? I was also on an antibiotic from the 25th of July until the 30th of July, Please help ## Hi, Clover! Have you done a pregnancy test? If you've missed pills, been active, and were on an antibiotic, then your chances of getting pregnant were definitely increased. You should consult your doctor to have a test done and to discuss your future birth control options. If you have trouble remembering to take pills regularly, there are others that you can use to avoid s...

I have been using petogen for 3 months and I was having non-stop periods and the doctor gave me oralcon. During the week that I was taking oralcon, I was taking the pill at different times and sometimes skipped taking it. I have been intimate with my partner without the use of protection. Could I fall pregnant? ## If you weren't using any protection, at all, then yes, there is a risk of pregnancy. Have you had a test done to check for pregnancy? Why did you stop taking the Oralcon? Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, spotting, mood changes, and weight changes.

Hi, i stopped using the oralcon on the 8th of October 2019. I was bleeding for 5 days there after. In November i had my period for two days and in December i had it for 3 days. All three months i was bleeding very little not even to fill a pad but when i urinate and wipe myself there will be a lot of blood on the tissue. In Dec i had my period for three days on the 16th until the 18th and on the 21st of December i had a little blood and discharge on my underwear. Can i be pregnant ## If you have had periods, it is not likely that you are pregnant. Since Oralcon is a hormonal contraceptive, stopping it can cause your body's hormone levels to be off balance, for awhile, which may result in irregular periods, and changed levels of bleeding. It can take a few months for your body to reg...

For a few month I have been on the 3months injection then changed to the 2month injection then changed to oralcon because I was bleeding through out the whole year while on the injection so I have been on the pill for about a year or more now I'm off it completey and want to fall pregnant how long will it take for me to fall pregnant?help ## Hello, Tashy! How are you? It could take about three months or so, before you actually ovulate and can possibly get pregnant. The hormonal contraceptives that you were using work by suppressing ovulation and it will take a bit for your body to balance things back out naturally. Have you consulted your doctor?

Am using oralcon for the first time. I just wanted to know when will I have my periods because I am now taking the red pill, am on the 3rd pill, but still nothing. Am now worried, can I be pregnant? ## Usually when you first start taking birth control, it's contraceptive effects generally don't take full effect until the first couple weeks or month after you begin treatment. Although I think this long time frame/waiting period may vary according to the brand. I'm not sure if your doctor or gynecologist also mentioned this, but irregular periods and missed periods are common side effects associated with these types of medications. This is largely due to the fluctuation in hormone levels, which ultimately have a direct impact on your menstrual cycles. Have you taken a pregnanc...

Hi...I'm 21 years old and have been ttc since 2012!this is my second day of taking oralcon pills, the doctor told me it could help with finally conceiving...anyone have any thoughts on this?I hve had tests done and it showed I am ovulating every month!I have a 3month supply of these pills ## Contraceptives are not going to help you conceive, they prevent pregnancy. You won't get pregnant while taking these. Your doctor may have given them to you in hopes that suppressing ovulation for a few months may increase the chances of your getting pregnant, once you're done taking them and you ovulate, again. Is there anything else I can help with? ## That's my thoughts as well!My grandmother took 4 years to fall pregnant with her and but my mom had no problems at all do u think it...

Hi i am a 23yr old and started using the oralcon pill for the past 3weeks now. I was recently on the 2 month injection for almost 6years i have been off the injection for a year now and would like to have another child is it true that the pill speeds up the process faster if used for a certain time and how long will it take for me t o fall pregnant if i discontinue the use of the oralcon pill..... ## I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. What process is it being said to speed up? If it's the ability to get pregnant, then no, that it not correct. Oral contraceptives work by suppressing ovulation, so no egg is released and after you stop taking them, it will take a month or more for your body to start ovulating again on its own.

I have started using oralcon contraceptive pill, I wanna know how they work ## HI, Tshepo! How are you? Oralcon is a hormonal based contraceptive, so they work by adding certain amounts of synthetic estrogen and progesterone to your body to prevent ovulation from occurring each month. That's why you have to take one each day, for 3 weeks until your menstruation week, if you don't, then the drop in hormones may allow ovulation to happen which makes it possible for you to get pregnant. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Do I drink this pills during my menstruation week ## Hi, i would like to know how long it takes for the Oralcon birthcontrol pill to be out of my system / body. ## does oralcon cause abnominal pains? am using oralcon for about 3mnths nw nd i alwyz hv pains ...

Hi, i have been on Oralcon for the past 6years and never had a problem with it at all, i will usually start my period on the 3rd pill but now lately it will start on the 2nd to last one and for this month i never started my period at all on the red pill. Today when i suppose to start my white pill new batch there i get my period, So do i carry on with the white pill or what do i need to do. ## Oral contraceptives can cause irregular periods, as a side effect, according to NIH reports, along with nausea, headache, weight gain, and mood changes. Some women stop having periods, entirely, while taking them. According to normal instructions, you should continue taking them, as usual. Is there any change that you are pregnant? Are you on any other medications?
