Can I cut the big pink Amoxicillin 875 mg pill in half so that I can swallow it? Augmentin 875 is too strong for me. I'm taking it for a uti. Can I cut this in half and only take half a dose to cure the infection? ## Hello, Brandy! How are you? I am on day 5 of 7 of amox tr-k clv 875-125 mg tabs for a uti. After day 2 I am acting as if I am on steroids. Rotor tilled and planted two gardens, planted 4-flats of flowers, 6-rosebushes cut lots of grass. Was not even achy or had sore muscles. Stayed up half the nite camping out. Can't sleep at nite, talk non stop and not very hungry. This was all days 2-5. If it wasn't for the no sleep I'm getting a heck of a lot done.
