can you shot it or sniff it ## has anyone found a sure way to break op/ oxys for injection ## no u can't that is the reason they started making them but i'm sure sum1 will figure out a way ## That is correct, even if you try to crush, chew or dissolve them, they turn into a piece of goo, so it retains its time released properties. However, it still contains the same narcotic and can cause the same side effects: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do you have any questions? ## yes yhere is a way google how to break down a oxycontin op you will see the forum there its not that hard and it works i have done it 20 times now you jus have to take your time ## this is how you shoot the op In the same situation . {edited for safety reasons} Once completed your ready to go...once on syringe it should look just like smack (brown)...I've never shot anything up but I have seen someone do this with my own two eyes and it worked...how healthy is it for u? I don't know but what's it matter ...cuz chances are if your shooting up anyways lol it doesn't matter as long as it works and it does! ## Injecting medications that have not been specially formulated to use in this manner is a very dangerous practice. Tablets contain fillers and not all of them are intended to be used and broken down by the human body. Some of them are substances that are normally just expelled in your waste. When you break down a tablet and inject it, you are putting these substances directly into your body, in plac...

is there injection form of this pill and what would happen if you did inject it? ## Hello, Fancy! How are you? There is a liquid that is formulated for such use. It isn't safe to do that with pills, since they contain fillers and excipients that may cause blockages. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

The new formulated oxycontin that has op takes a long time to work since taking this new formulated oxycontin I developed staph (staff) infection. I do not think that it is fair for the people like me that don't snort them or inject them intervenously that they were changed. It's also very hard to swallow them. In the news it came out that a person that was prescribed the new formulated oxycontin had to go to the emergency room because the medicine got stuck in his throat. It is not fair that they were changed expecially because alot of people don't abuse them and actually need them for severe pain. I went to the emergency room with the staph infection and ofcourse I was told that it had nothing to do with the new formulated op but I have heard from different people that alo...

This is the number to Purdue when calling select Opt # 2 and explain the adverse reaction that you are having from the new reformulated Oxycontin. The number is 888-726-7535. If the new type is working for you then great. I and several people I spoke with said it gets stuck in your throat even with food. Plus it does not last 12 hour. I understand why they re-made it kids should not take it and as far as how people take it snort, inject or chew its their business. Nobody should tell another ADULT how to live his or her life. It sucks to live in pain it really does. Good Luck All ## The new Oxycontin OP has been specially formulated to help prevent abuse. However, there have been many complaints about it causing weird side effects or not working. To get someone to take notice of the prob...

I have been on oxycontin 80 mg. they made me really sick and did not help my pain. What is the equivalent of oxy. 80 mg and opana? ## Information that I've gathered on this topic from various references states the following: "All opioids have different effects. There is no such thing as "equivalent" dosages. Body chemistry is very different in everyone, so an "equivalent" dosage for one person could cause another to OD" Just to further reiterate this - according to opiate equivalency tables, 40mg of Oxymorphone (opana) injected roughly equals 800mg of Oxycodone." (This is not a typo). What I highly recommend, is to discuss your situation with a qualified doctor instead of asking someone else what an equivalent dose would be, since it can vary on a case by...

My doctor switched me to Oxycontin 80MG from Oxycodone IR 30MG. What is the difference between the two? I read all these forums and many of them are about abusing them and I am not interested in doing that for fear of dying. So, what will happen if I chew them? I would like the best way to make my pain go away but I would not mind the euphoria/Hi from them but I am not wiling to snort or inject. Can someone tell me the difference between these pills and if anyone has chewed these pills and what is the effects of doing so. ## The one that you were receiving with the IR designation were instant release Oxycodone, but the Oxycontin is a time released formulation, meant to slowly release the medication over a 12 hour period. And with the new formulation with the OP marking, chewing them wil...

yellow round pill, writing on one side 40, OP on the other side ## round pill 40 on one side and OP on other side and its yellow. is this an oxycontin generic? ## i have the same thing and wtf is it? ## They have reformulated oxycontin to make it less likely to be abused. It is more difficult to chew or crush and can not be injected by abusers. So it is a oxycontin 40 mg that is tamper resistant ## i have the same thing only the substance will not show up in a data base from poison controll and does not give you the high ## do they still make real ocor just the ones that have the op on them? ## OP is the replacement oxycontin. I have been taking this med app. 6 months, oxycontin 80mg, they just changed it to opana ER 40mg., does anyone know the difference? Does anyone know which is better for arounf the clock severe pain? Thank you ## They are both different opiates, but you've been given an equivalent dose. There really is no better or best medication that anyone should tell you, it depends on you and what works best to relieve your pain. Have you tried the Opana, yet? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Opana is probably one of the strongest narcotics out there for in home use. I'm not talking about injectables, pills only. It has very ...

dosage and administration ## my daughter's boyfriend and assailant was found with needles and a blue liquid in his car when arrested... what might this be? ## This is probably a perscription drug broken down to powder and with water added for injection, most likely an opiate such as morphine sulfate, oxycontin (oxycodone) , ms contin, or dilaudid. ## I have a blue tasteless liquid I was told is morphine I need to know if it is injectable. Any thoughts ## What are the different types of liquid morphine pain medications available in Australia and how do you properly administer them? ## How do I properly administer liquid morphine intravenously? How much should I take and is it safe? It says NDC: 0054–0404-44. 30mL bottle and it's 100 mg per 5 mL or 20 mg/mL.

I am prescribed percocet, oxycontin, xanax, and adderall. I had a lower back injection done that I had a reaction to causing SEVERE PAIN AND UTI. I had NORCO left from previous Dr about 4 months prior. On my visit this month I had taken the Norco because pain was so bad. My nurse did a drug urine test on that day. Will I fail my drug test because of the Norco I had taken?? ## Just be honest I'm sure the doc will understand ## Yes, you should pass with no problem both Percocet & Narco tabs are classified as opioids. Best of luck to you! ## Oxycontin, Percocet and Norco? You should also use a pain patch on the site of injection to make you feel even better. Truthfully you are an addict. ## WOW! This I have found to be correct, as far as the newly formulated version that is abuse-proof and cannot be snorted or injected intravenously. ## That is correct, this is a 20mg Oxycontin OP tablet, the new product from Purdue. Round, pink, with a 20 on one side of the pill, and op on the other side of the pill. ## This is the new Oxycontin product from Purdue, it has replaced the original product and has been specially formulated to help prevent abuse. Side effects are supposed to remain the same: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Read more: Are there any questions or comments? ## Can you inject the new Pink OXYCONTIN 20 AND IF SO HOW? PAIN IS A MAJOR ISSuE AND i require assistance ## While I'm aware this medication has been redesigned to "prevent" injection my (limited) understanding is that there is still a way. As such I am in search if this method.

This is the newly formulated version of OxyContin that's time released no matter what (coating or none). It is definitely abuse-proof and cannot be snorted or injected intravenously. ## That is correct, this is a 20mg Oxycontin OP tablet, however, I wouldn't describe it as abuse proof, because there are always people that will figure out a way to abuse them. Purdue has just tried to make it a bit harder for them to do so. It is a narcotic, so it may cause side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness. New pain doctor wants to put a morphine pump in place of meds been taking (80mg oxycontin times 2 a day) (30mg oxycodone times 4 a day) Any info good or bad trying to research this she decided this on my first visit. ## The pain pumps usually give most people better pain control and the medication is injected directly into your blood stream, so they also work much faster for pain relief. i like snorting my oxy 30s but i cant seem to crush the brown op 30s ## They've actually been specially formulated to prevent people using them in this manner, since they are only intended to be swallowed.
