I take Suboxone and Paxil. When my doctor gave me a drug test it came back positive for Benzos. I take 10 mg Lexapro, 3 mg Melatonin, and Loratab 10/500 daily and tested pos for Benzo.. . Been trying to get into a suboxone program. Already in 1 but this 1 is thru the VA & I get my meds free there so I'm sooo happy 2 get out of this civilian clinic. I am worried sick... I have been going to a suboxone doc for over a year and half now. Been very proud of myself for staying clean. This last Monday I went for my usual monthly checkup and urine drug screen and for the first time it showed that I was dirty for benzos. I have never taken any benzos on purpose or accident. The only other things i have been taking along with my suboxone are otc pain relievers such as midol, aleve and ibuprofin(all generic brands) i go back the day after tomorrow to find out what the lab results will show. Hello, I need urgent and immediate (and hopefully accurate and detailed) help. I will take what I can get. I have been taking subutex (and some suboxone for months. But for the last few I take tiny pieces of subutex daily to keep my tolerance down. I am on juvenile Probation and have a typical Urine Test 2-3 times a week. I always pass. Well this week, the Bactrum DS I took for a UTI made me have a false positive for Benzos. Hi I've been on suboxone for 18 months now, have never had a dirty urine in this entire time and today I saw my gp and he informed me I tested positive to benzos? My past habit was opiates, I can't understand how or why i tested positive! I've not taken anything but my prescribed avanza and my subs. So confused this has never happened before. I have been taking suboxone for almost a year and had to move to a new doc. They drug tested me and said I tested positive for benzos. The funny thing is I have not taken ANY benzos. I have to go take another test today at 5 and I am scared s**tless cuz they said if benzos are still in my system then they can not see me. I tested positive today and last monday for benzodiazepines at my suboxone doctor. He's testing me again next monday and i'm kicked out if it's dirty. I took one valium to help me sleep when i was withdrawing about 8-9 days ago, so i understand the first test being dirty. The only things i have taken other than suboxone the last week and a half is ibuprofen, and energy drinks (mio). I have to take a urine drug test weekly and it gets sent off to a lab to be double checked. The last 3 weeks it says I failed for Gabapentin. I have not taken that kind of medicine my whole life.
