headaches every day, worse at night, last severly30 min, sometimes three times in one night,on one side of face, temple and jaw and brow bone, excrusating pain ## Have you found out what's causing them? They sound pretty debilitating, I'm very sorry. Do you take any other medications? Do you have any other medical conditions? Learn more Fioricet details here. ## My friend it sounds like you are suffering from migraines or cluster headaches you need to see a headache specialist or neurologist to be formally diagnosed and MRI's and CT Scans don't help to diagnose these but do help to rule out other things like aneurysms. Now I am not a doctor but a migraine sufferer for the past 16 years and have been "recently" diagnosed in 2005 after spending weeks in the hospita... ...

I was just prescribed this medication, but I cannot swallow pills, can I crush it and then take it? ## Yes, there is no time released formulation from what I can find listed, so it should be fine to do so, unless there are some specific instructions on the prescription, or from your doctor directing you not to do so. Learn more Fioricet details here. However, have you made your doctor and pharmacist aware of your problem swallowing pills? This medication is available in a liquid form, as well as a capsule, either of which would be easier for you to take. ## could this medicine while.taking othet.medication ...

Can this med help chronic back pain, lower back? ## The combination of Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Butalbital (50 mg) + Caffeine (40 mg) is most commonly used to treat migraines and tension headaches caused by muscle contractions. The prescribing information also states that, "acetaminophen, butalbital, and caffeine may also be used for other purposes not listed in this medication guide." - That said, I don't see why those ingredients wouldn't be of at least some help in so far as managing your back pain. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Acetaminophen + Butalbital + Caffeine Details I hope this helps! ...

I was taking Hydrocodone 7.5 for a long time after brain surgery in 2010 and headaches have not gone away .. Is the Butal Acetamino CF50 325-40 stronger? What does this medication have in it? ## Hello, Momo! How are you? You won't be able to switch to that, the medications with Butalbital are not being manufactured. I'm not sure why, or if it's a permanent thing, but right now they are unavailable. As to something stronger for migraines, most ERs actually use Dilaudid. Learn more Dilaudid details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What has your doctor suggested? ...

I took 2 Tylenol 2 hours ago and then remembered that I have a prescription for migraine. How long do I have to wait before I can take my but/apap/cf50-325-40tab ## Hi Claire, Because Acetaminophen is the only active ingredient in Tylenol, I don't foresee any interactions between Tylenol and your prescription of Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Butalbital (50 mg) + Caffeine (40 mg). However, depending upon the dose of Tylenol you took, I would suggest waiting at least 4-6 hours before you start taking your prescription (as this is the recommended dosing interval within a 24hr period for dosages ranging from 325 - 650 mg). I hope this info helps to answer your question! ...
