Buspar Can You Get High

I am already taking 10 mg buspirone 2 times per day and my doc has suggested adding 0.25 mg paxil, to further help with anxiety. Is this safe? I get anxiety every 4. Weeks and it last for 4 to 5 days.this been goin on for years. I was on remeron at a high dose 60mg daily it was way to much.it does nothing for my anxiety..if any thing it made it worse now I'm on buspar.is this gonna help me with the anxiety.trying not to take bentos got hooked on them .it was very hard to get off of them.i really hope therapy works never been to therapy...just tired of this whole thing..43yrs old started feeling anxious at 41.i need this to stop.does anybody know what to do? ## Are you male or female? I was not told the reason I went freaking bald was these pills. My daughter and I are both balding. hell,no I am 4 days off seroquel, welbutrin xl, and buspar, all of which cause hair loss. the doctor took me off 250 seroquel and told me that I would only gain weight on the higher amount. put me on 100 and I gained 20 pounds. mind you I had gastric bypass and eat basically grapes and dang apples. I have taken Serax for anxiety attacks, works great but now insurance will no longer cover that medication. They recommend Xanax which I am highly allergic to, or Buspar which I read is mainly for long term use.I need something when I feel an anxiety attack coming on, not something I have to take all day every day. ## Hello, Sandra! I just got burned with Buspar. I was told that I didn't know what they look like and was intimidated. I should have known. I don't take it to feel high. I have been on seroquel and buspar for about 4 years and my doc just added viibryd for the anxiety. Does anyone else take this combination and does it seem to work? My anxiety has gotten worse lately so he added this med. I started today with the 10 mg and supposed to do that for a week then 20 for a week and then the dose I'm supposed to stay on at 40mg. Anxiety is a problem I have. I had it for 2 years.im 43 now.i didn't know what was going on with me.i went for medical advice. I told them my problems(fast heart rate.head numb,nervous.). And it would last for 4to 5 daystheweird thing is .when I wakeup I have anxiety all day.around 730 at night it magically goes away.weird.i taken 60 mg of remeron .it was way to much I cut down to 7.5mg in the morning and 15mg at night. I have only see the 0.25 which were white, the 0.5 I've seen 3 different orange ones and also a yellow 0.5. The 1 mg I have seen in blue and green. And the 2 mg bars I've seen in white, yellow and green. The white and yellow bars break in 4 squares. People try to pass off buspars as zanny bars.they are totally different and u couldn't pay me to take one of those. The green bars do only break into 3. I have never heard of a 3 mv time released bar. Or any higher than a 2mg period. ## That is nice. I was given four pills and told they were generic Xanax. They are white and rectangular in shape (similar to most other 2mg Xanax pills), are scored 3 times on both front and back, and are imprinted with A 2 M G on one side.
