I am already taking 10 mg buspirone 2 times per day and my doc has suggested adding 0.25 mg paxil, to further help with anxiety. Is this safe? Is it safe to take 100mg of Pristiq and 10mg of Buspar and 250mg of Seroquel together? I didn't know how much serotonin all those combined would be or if those 3 meds are ok to take together. Thanks! ## Hello, Beka! How are you? Have they all been prescribed for you? Two that can raise your serotonin levels are the Pristiq and the Buspar. It isn't that they can't be taken together, but that your doctor should carefully adjust the dosage and they should be monitoring your regularly in case any problems develop. According to the FDA the symptoms for Serotonin syndrome may possibly include increased heart rate, shivering, sweating, dilated pupils and twitching. They will also be of very rapid onset.

I'm currently taking clonazepam 1mg, for panic anxiety for over ten yrs. Someone informed that a 10mg, mb2 buspar is stronger and works better. Does an1 have any info about that? I would like to get off the clonazepam but I have bad panic anxiety. And am afraid to switch to something else. That's part of my anxiety is being to cautious. But I rather be that way and be on something that isn't habit forming. Had I know it would be then I wouldn't of taken it yrs ago. But I take the 1mg clonazepam twice a day. But if I feel ok then I don't take the second one. But have read that you can't stop and need to wean off of it. Please any info would be appreciated. I have depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder, and am currently taking Pristiq 50mg once daily, along with Buspar 10mg twice daily. I was taking 300mg Wellbutrin XL with that, but my psych dr thought it my be exacerbating my anxiety. A few weeks ago she decreased my Wellbutrin dosage to 150mg and changed it to the SR formula. I tapered off Effexor XR and onto 10mg Brintellix. No withdrawal symptoms - seamless transition. I have been on Brintellix now for about 3 weeks. I have to say I feel more alert, my anxiety is low, my sleep is better. So far so good. I had to stop taking Tramadol and Buspar to avoid the interaction but have had no need for the Buspar since and I can just take another opiod pain killer if I need to. Okay so I really need help! I am on 52mg of methadone daily but going down 2 mg monthly to get off it, also taking 100mg Zoloft and my doctor just precribed 10mg buspar three times a day. Why did I read that you should not take this medicine till 2020? I was just given a lot of samples of 5mg that my doctor wants me to start for my depression.
