Will prednisone help with swelling & pain due to a toothache? ## Hello, Brenda! How are you? I'm sorry that you're suffering from a toothache. No, Prednisone is a steroid and it will not help with such an issue. If you have a toothache, you most likely have an infection, which will require an antibiotic and proper dental treatment. Is there anything else I can help with? ## prednisone absolutely eliminated my tooth ache not once, but several times, two 10 mg for two days and both tooth ache and gout symtons are gone for up to three weeks

Doctor going to try this for me.I have diabetic neurophopy. ## Hello, Marie! How are you? Was it possibly Norco that your doctor mentioned? It is a narcotic analgesic that contains a combination of Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, so there is a risk of it being habit forming and it can cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Norco details here. ## Is it safe to take hydrocodone while also taking Mobic? ## Brenda, There is no listed contraindications between these two substances but as ALWAYS YOU SHOULD CONFIRM THIS WITH YOUR PRESCRIBER since they are best equipped to handle this inquiry. oval shape, color is pink ## I dont know if this is causing it but I am a runner and coincidentally around when I started taking the Folbic Tab Brenckrdg - I feel that I get a tad bit more exhausted while running. Also, notice a sour taste in my mouth and tend to consume more water than I am used to. Is it the Folbic? ## The sour taste and thirst can happen with some vitamin supplements, however I don't see anything regarding the tiredness. Have you tried asking your doctor or pharmacist? ## Thanks Verwon, Yes I talked to my doctor and he suggested I get off Folbic and use an over-the-counter B12 supplement which is what I was doing in the past.. The tiredness is so minimal - like in a 50 minute workout I take a total break of 2 minutes which I did not need before. Could be a variet...

Brentuximab Vedotin Drug Index

I want to know if I can take pristiq with brentillix? ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? No, these two should not be taken together, since they both increase serotonin levels and that creates the risk of your developing serotonin syndrome, which may be fatal. Has your doctor prescribed both of these medications? The FDA lists the typical side effects of antidepressants as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

I use a new marry Kay night serum now one side. of my face is all red and wellped up. it stings like it's on fire and is itchy and sensitive to touch. benadryl and hydrocortisone cream aren't. working if you have any suggestions I would realty appreciate it. ## Hi Brenda, Is the marry kay night serum what caused the skin irritation to begin with, or is it something you've just been trying to treat for a while now? If the marry kay serum is what caused it, then it only makes sense to consider switching to another brand with either less ingredients or with different more natural ingredients all-together. As far as treating the skin irritations, I'd suggest lavender essential oil. It works really well for that burning sensation you mentioned, as well as for any inflammation...

I have started taking Brenda 35 ed - the pack comes with the white tablets which I never take (but in this pack they ask you to start taking the white tablets on the first day of your cycle when you start a new pack) however I didnt do it, I started taking my pill on my first day of the period with an active tablet - (Normally with other pills you are protected straight away) but with this one it says it takes two weeks, I am just very confused. So I took an active tablet on my first day of my period and been taking active tablets for the last week at the same time. As I said I never take the white tablets as they contain sugar and dont find them necessary can someone tell me if I am intermediately protected when taking active tablet first day of the period? ## Hello, Nana! How are you?...

I take 40mg of Lisinopril daily in the mornings. What if I accidentally doubled that dose? ## Hello, Brennan! How are you? Taking a double dose will likely result in your experiencing more side effects, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension. It's not a dangerous amount, unless your heart rate and blood pressure are already low, then it may cause fainting, heart failure, respiratory failure or other dangerous issues. Learn More: MedlinePlus If you do accidentally double up, it would be best to inform your doctor, to be safe. Hope this helps! ## Hi. I sorta of done same thing, but didn't double it. I just took it about 15 hrs apart. I take lisinopril/hctz 10-12.5. When I was at the pharmacy early around 4pm it wa...

Since this is basically a vitamin, what over the counter product would be as effective? ## Hello, Jim! How are you? Since Folbic is classified by the FDA as a very potent prescription multivitamin, there is nothing available over the counter that is as potent, that's why it's prescription only. The best thing to do would be to speak to your doctor and see if there is something close that you can take that may help you. Getting to much of some nutrients can be dangerous, but there are others where it doesn't matter. Potent multivitamins may also cause nausea, after taking them. Are you low in anything in particular? ## Thanks for the reply. Actually it is for my wife. Her blood dr prescribed this and we are on ss making it a hardship paying for meds that insurance will not co...

She got into my purse and cut one open and said she couldn't get it to come out of her mouth. It's 8mg/2mg suboxone film. What can i do to help get it out of her system? I'm not sure if she swallowed the whole film or not as I didn't see it anywhere in the house. ## @Brenda, First things first, if it were my child, I'd call poison control immediately at 1-800-222-1222. Secondly, I'd probably contact the prescribing doctor and/or a local pharmacist for advice on how to safely detox the child (re: activated charcoal, dandelion root, etc?) - if poison control didn't already provide appropriate information on what to do next... Thirdly, make sure your pharmaceuticals are out of reach from anyone other than yourself; even if it means getting a safe. Fatal overdose...

I've been on brentillix for about 3 weeks. It HSS been a God send, up until about a week ago. I woke up with s severe headache that had literally lasted all week and, no OTC pain meds have worked. Also, the med is insanely expensive! Talked to my Doc and he called in the generic of Effexor. Will it work the as well for the depression/anxiety as the Brentillix did? Reading this forum has caused me to be really discouraged. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! ## Hello, Lamb chop! How are you? Effexor contains the active ingredient Venlafaxine, it is an SNRI, so it's a little different than the Brintellix, but still similar. It is approved by the FDA to treat depression and anxiety, it's successfully helped many people. It's typical side effects are listed as possibly...

I have a abcess tooth which one is best cipro septra or keflex? ## Hi Brenda, From what I could gather, Ciprofloxacin is not commonly prescribed for dental infections. So it's probably not the best choice as a first line treatment option.. Septra and Keflex on the other hand, are more commonly prescribed by dentists for tooth and other mouth related infections, due to their broader spectrum. You may want to talk with your doctor about either one of those last two options to see what works best. Sometimes the right decision has to come from trial and error, depending on how your body reacts to each medication. Have you taken either of these medications in the past?

I have the name of the Peach/Orange Pill with P on one side and 2 on the other. This is a Dilaudid (2 mg). I want to know the manufacturer. Also do you know what pharmacies use this specific generic pill. I am super sensitive to fillers in the meds and the one that Walgreen uses is white and makes my sinus act up. The only Dilaudid (2 mg) that doesnt mess me up is the Peach/Orange one. However, I was given those in the hospital. It is not the brand name dulaudid though because every one uses the generic a brand name one is not made any longer. ## Hello, Brenda! How are you? The name brand is still manufactured, it has not been discontinued. The ones you received in the hospital with the P2 marking are the name brand, they are manufactured by Purdue Pharma. The FDA classifies this medica...

Anyone ever heard of (2) Zithromax 500mg tablets used for a vaginal infection ? ## I'm 29 year old lad. I'm suffering from itching after vaginal or anal intercourse and after half an hour it gets cured automatically. Please recommend the medicine. Please let me know whether my husband also has to take medicine ## Brenda, it depends on the type of infection, if it is bacterial in origin, then Zithromax might help with it, since it is an antibiotic, the FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash. Kathusa, have you had this checked out by your doctor? It it gets better that fast, there might not be anything more going on than a slight reaction to each other's secretions during intercourse. Information needed Refractory Hodgkin's lymphoma and Brentuximab Vedotin ## From what I could gather, Brentuximab vedotin injection is used in patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma who have otherwise not responded to stem cell transplants (procedure that replaces diseased bone marrow with healthy bone marrow) or at least two treatments of chemotherapy. More information on Brentuximab vedotin injection can be found by visiting the webpage below: nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a611052.html Refractory Hodgkin's lymphoma is basically a form of cancer pertaining to the white blood cells (lymphocytes); which make up a large part of the lymphatic system. White round pill with 198 on one side of the pill and the letter U on the other side. What is it used for? ## Hi Brenda, I came across a strikingly similar pill description and just wanted to share it with you in case yours might've been misinterpreted (not saying it was though). This particular pill I found is white round and has an imprint that's opposite to yours "n 861" if you held it upside down. It contains 10mgs of Dexmethylphenidate hydrochloride, used for treating ADHD and is a product of Gavis Pharmaceuticals. Does this sound like a possible match? ## Yes, my friend asked me if i knew what it was, which i did not. He had 2 different ones. One was that one, and the other was white round with 93 on one side, the other side was blank

please advise what this pill use for what ## Hi Brenda, The closest match I've been able to locate is Atenolol (100 mg) + Chlorthalidone (25 mg). It is a white round pill with the imprint MP 152. The P intersects with the M and doesn't really stand out as an imprint on its own -so maybe it was rubbed off at some point- making it appear as if only the M is part of the imprint. Manufacturer: Mutual Pharmaceutical Company, Inc. Atenolol is used for a number of conditions including: hypertension, angina, acute myocardial infarction, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, and the symptoms of alcohol withdrawal. Atenolol is currently recommended only in special circumstances as complementary medication in hypertension. More frequently one or more of ACE Inhibitors, cal...
