The toxin is also used commercially for medical and cosmetic purposes. The seven main types of botulinum toxin are named types A to G ...

Are there any side effects when getting the two together other than a risk of brusing and bleeding? ## I have posted the same question. Did you have botox while taking xyralto? If so how did it go? ## According to the University of Maryland's drug interaction tool, there are no interactions listed between Botox and Xarelto. This is not to say that no interactions exist, but based on their research it seems to me that this is not a concern. However, I would still encourage you to talk with your doctor just to get a second opinion. I'd also imagine that it may be particularly difficult to make proper discernment between each individual drug's possible side effects vs that of an interaction between the two substances...

Is it safe to have Botox injections while on Xyralto? Has anyone had any experience with Botox while taking Xyralto? ## Since Xarelto can increase your risk of dangerous bleeding, it is very doubtful if it is safe for you to have such a procedure. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may also include nausea, dizziness, headache, and easy bruising. It would be best to speak to your doctor, because before having procedures like this, you will most likely need to stop taking it for a few days. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I received Botox a couple weeks ago with no problem whatsoever. Not even a needlestick bruise

Has anyone suffered from side effects after receiving Botox? ## Hi Liz, Although I don't have any personal experience with Botox, I did find information regarding the possible side effects associated with it. Listed below are common side effects that you may have to check with your doctor about if they become bothersome or persistent: "Anxiety; arm or leg pain; back pain; constipation; dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth; dry or irritated eyes; facial pain; flu-like symptoms; headache; inability to focus the eyes; increased cough; indigestion; mild sore throat; nausea; neck pain; pain, redness, swelling, or tenderness at the injection site; runny nose; sensitivity to light; stiff or weak muscles at or near the injection site; sweating; tiredness." More serious side effects (tha...

I have chronic migraines,7/24/365. This condition is kept to a manageable level by Lyricaand Effexor. However, both of these drugs have been causing serious side effects to, like short term memory problems, shortness of breath, and more. I am very sensitive to drugs in general, and have tried other meds with little success. Botox has been suggested as an alternative . Has anyone had e perience with Botox or any other med which would be better? Thanks! ## The most likely culprit in this case is Lyrica, since it is an anticonvulsant that can also help with other conditions, the FDA does warn that it can cause memory issues, dry mouth, dizziness, mood changes, and weight changes. However, Botox can also cause side effects, such as administration site reactions, swelling, redness, and atrop...

Has anyone had Botox injections for eye twiching? I have and they did not use numbing while injecting into my eye lids and surrounding eyes. I was wondering why they can not numb the area? ## I have. I don't know why they can use anything to numb it. But the pain is worth making the eye twitch stop. I'd tried everything: calcium, magnesium, potassium, saw a neurologist. Only the shots worked. ## The doctor told me that numbing would hurt worse than the shot. So I just pinch myself and don't look. I've had to get the shots every 5. -6 months for a year and a half because the eye twitch comes back. We are hoping eventually the muscle will stop on it's own. I took topirimate for a few months at a low dose a couple years ago. Then I stopped ## I don't know if my insu...

Hi I would like some feedback regarding xeomin dilution rates and dose rates for cosmetic purposes. I had training in botox and use dysport for blephrospasms. However I would like to use Xeomin without an insulin syringe. I prefer the standard syringe and needle. thank you. Scotland

Hi, I have severe gastroparesis for 5 years now. I’ve been through tubes, pics, ports, pyloroplasty and Botox. I asked my dr if I could try emend and she gave the okand the script. I have to say, emend plus zofran was the best anti nausea and barfing control that I’ve ever had! I was so happy! But, it’s $20 for 3 pills!! I can’t afford this because of all my other meds as well. Could I get it in IV form and administer it to myself with my drs approval? Also if you get it for Iv, do you get more than 3 days worth at a time? Or more pills for the high copays? Thank you so much! Wendy ## it is used to treat severe forms of nausea, so yes, it can be taken by people who do not have cancer. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, drowsin...

I am living with sickle cell anemia. My doctor for the last 10 years has prescribed me with oxycontin. Now my doctor is changing fields and will ne doing botox treatments and he will not write out anymore prescriptions. Does anyone know of a new doctor I can get my medication from in Las Vegas, Nevada? I do not abuse them but I do need them for server pain I have in my bones. Please help!! ## Have you tried asking them if they have a doctor they can recommend for you? In most situations of this type, doctors will look for someone else too take over their patients, rather than leave them out in the cold. Otherwise, have you considered trying a pain management specialist? That might be your other best option, since they are specially trained in dealing with this type of health problem.

Looking for a doctor in Delaware/PA for pain management of severe migraine headaches who will prescribe oxycodone liquid. Have been to migraine clinics all over the country and tried Fentyl patch, Botox injections, triptan medications, morphine, diladid, with no relief for chronic dibiltating migraines. ## Has your doctor done any checking to see what's causing your migraines? The reason I'm asking is because Fentanyl is the strongest opiate available, so if it didn't help, it is unlikely that Oxycodone will help, regardless of the form its in. The FDA warns that opiate medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
