I have some blue 1 mg alprazolam, generic for Xanax, pills that have the R031 on them. I would like to know if they are time release or if I took them with my regular 2 mg brand-name Xanax bars, with the Xanax on one side and the 2 on the other, if I would get the same effect or if the blue ones are time or extended release and would not work the same? ## Hello, Tom! OK, so I have some red xanax bars. They are a light red color and they are a round shape. I just filled my script that was Supossed to be Xanax 1 mg extended release.. Xr or ER.. Anyway I my meds are usually a bigger white pill.. The little Xanax pills come in different colors and shapes as well although they can be of different strengths. Also there is an ER version of Xanax that might come in different forms as well. Hi, I'm Joey. I've been prescribed Xanax for 7 years now, and I've had all kinds. I had yellow, green, white bars ... then my doctor switched my dose down to 1 mg and I've been on those for the last 4 years. I personally prefer the oblong G3721 Alprazolam, they're a lot better than other kinds that I have been dispensed. It just so happens that the only version my pharmacy carries are G3721. I highly recommend them over the typical bar shaped tablets. The colors don't matter, they're all the same, only thing different is the manufacturer. But you guys be careful out there. What is a light blue and white capsule marked with 159? ## This is Chlordiazepoxide 25mgs, a generic for Librium. This is a very strong Benzodiazepine. ## I take Librium 25mg only when needed and Amitriptyline 50mg at night for insomnia. I had been on .5 xanax for 6 months and the side affects from not taking them were horrible i was going through detox. My doctor put me on these two medicine and within a week i started to feel alot better like my normal self. The Amitriptyline is a very strong medicine. Make sure you have plenty of time to rest the first 4 days. You wake up real light headed and dizzy. The Librium is great!!
