i am 39 years old woman. i am advised to take this medicine for three months, as i have cholestrol. i need the details of the above medicine and advise and side effects. ## I cannot find any information on this medication, however, from the name and use, I am assuming it is a Statin drug, they are commonly used to help lower cholesterol. The Statin drug class all carry the risks of the same side effects and the only thing you can really do is try them and see how they affect you. White round pill with a score on the front, above the score it has a B and underenth the score it has 19? what is it...? ## Hi Bob - I have not been able to find a pill matching the exact description which you provided. The closest thing which I have seen is a round white pill with a score mark in the middle. One side has BI on either half of the score mark, and the other side has 91 on either half. That is a Mirapex 1.5mg. Unfortunately this sounds pretty different from what you have described. My guess at this point is that it can either be an over-the-counter product, or a prescription drug from outside the united states. Can you post back any other details such as a manufacturer name, where this was found, or country of origin of the pill?

Many sources state that it is manufactured by "Lupin", but other sources stated that it was manufactured by "Sun Pharma". Upon visiting Lupin's webpage, I wasn't able to locate this drug in their product list.
