Ampicillin is an antibiotic that is used to treat various types of bacterial infections. Inactive Ingredients: - Magnesium stearate - Ferrosoferric oxide - Gelatin - Silicon dioxide - Sodium lauryl sulfate - Titanium dioxide - D&C Red No. 28 - FD&C Blue No. 1 ## Blue & gray capsules marked WC 402 are 250 mg of the anti-biotic Ampicillin.

I am not exactly constipated but needs lots of pressure to move out the soft stool; somebody suggested to use Pro-biotic Capsules like Vibact DS; Is it correct and safe? ## (1) Well I am an Indian,living in Kolkata,West Bengal,India (2) I am 72 yrs Old male. They too are deep red and light purple. The drug is clindamycin, an anti-biotic ## Hello Leigh, The pill that you are describing is an old 150 mg clindamycin which is an anti-biotic manufactured by Novopharm. Unfortunately I won't be able to provide you with any details on that pill because Novopharm has been aquired by Teva and has removed all of their website and information pertaining to their products. If you would like information on the replacement pill, (NDC 00591-5708)from Teva let me know and I will happily supply you with that information.

Large orange & yellow capsule with the number 2416 on both sides of the pill. Before the number there is a bold letter, possibly a capital I or X. ## Large orange & yellow capsule with the number 2416 = Tetracycline Capsules - 250mg - an anti-biotic which is commonly used as anti-acne medication.
