My mother is 72 years old. My mother's blood sugar level is 215 before fasting and 300 above after fasting. Mt mother takes Tribet 2mg + AZTOR 10mg and Repace H 50mg. My doctor has prescribed D Aztor 10 tablets to me to be taken once a day at bedtime. The prescription was done at Mumbai, but I am presently at Karachi, Pakistan, for a short visit. I just wanted to know whether aztor 10mg and torvacol 20mg are the same (containing atorvastatin)? And how long can u take them? its a entric coated capsule, with composition asprin IP 10mg astrovastatin calcium 75mg ## I am a resident of hyderabad of andhra pradesh and this drug was prescribed for my mother aged 58 years and she had a problem of nerves in the back side of the neck to the left hand and she was tested with INMG report and she was given only two medicines saying that all her reports were normal she was prescribed maxgalin 75 and aztor ASP 75. please let me know if you can find anything about the second drug. thank you. ## My results say i have cholesterol above 288 mg. HI,my dad is taking ECOSPRIN AV 75 for past 2 weeks on doctors advice-cardiologist AND HE IS ALSO TAKING AZTOR FOR PAST 1.5 YEARS PRESCRIBED BY ANOTHER DOCTOR.BOTH IS TAKEN AT NIGHT TIME. I am 47 years old & I had a heart attack on one month back & DR. treated me for 5 days on hospital with the medication --Tab. Ecosprin 75mg PO..OD after meal, Tab Clopilet 75mg PO.OD, Tab Metop.12.5mg PO..BD, Tab Aztor 10mg PO..HS, Tab Lasilactone 1/2 tab PO. OD, Tab Pantocid 40mg PO..OD in empty stomach for 15 days, Tab Isordil 5mg..SL.. when chest pain--. I was advice for CAG but I wanted to remain on medical management until further decision. After one week I went to follow up & I told the Dr. to go for CAG.The Dr. did the Angioplasty & put a Stent & told me you need to put another Stent for your 80% another block for your heart with in one month.
