Hi~ For several years, I have been prescribed 4/day butal/ASA/caf/cod for h/a's, neck pain and flank pain...because of (dr believes) the aspirin, I've had tummy problems (hurts!), so he changed rx to butal/ACETAM/caf/cod...is one stronger than the other? Is the acetam more "dangerous" to my liver than aspirin? Thank you so much! ## Both Acetaminophen and Aspirin have risks/problems that they can cause. As a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, Aspirin is much more rough on the stomach, so it's highly possible that it was causing some irritation or even an ulceration, that was causing the stomach pain. The double whammy from it is that it also has a blood thinning effect, so if you end up with a bleeding ulcer, there's a chance of hemorrhage. Learn more Aspirin details...

I need a pain clinic or a doctor in the Stark County Ohio area I can walk into today and get some hydro. or oxy. I am legit and have MRI results to prove. I have been going to er visits up till now bulged disc both knees have torn cartilage and right leg is shorter than other also bad right hip with bursitis. ## I'm sorry, but with the new regulations that were put in place this year, that's really not going to happen. If you need immediate pain relief, returning to the ER is most likely your only option. Since people requiring controlled substances for ongoing treatment of pain are now being forced to see pain management specialists, such doctors have become swamped with new patients. Thus, if you do happen to find one that is still accepting new patients, you'll likely hav...

I've been on subs for 17 months.started on 16 mg and I'm down to 6. I have a problem at the clinic where I'm getting them prescribed. I have never failed a drug teat. However, they want me to go to their counselor every week and see the doctor every other week. This is a problem with my work schedule. It is hard enough getting out of work early every other week, let alone every week. So I made an appointment with the new doctor and have it today. Took my last dose of percocet at 1130 last night. How long until I can take suboxone? I feel terrible. ## Hello, Via04! How are you? You need to be in full withdrawal, just as your doctor instructs, before you can take Suboxone. Otherwise the Naloxone in it may throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## Thank you! I waited 24 hours and then took 1/2 of an 8mg strip, so 4mg. I then took another 1/2 strip 12 hours later.
